After spending 3 hours with Bob's Track Builder Pro, I can tell that it’s a powerful and unique tool for creating custom tracks, but it’s definitely challenging for beginners. The concept of the game is really exciting—being able to design and build your own racing tracks from scratch is something that offers a lot of creative freedom. But in those initial hours, I found myself struggling to get comfortable with the interface and the vast array of tools at my disposal. The controls and layout are packed with options, and it felt overwhelming to know where to begin. Creating even a basic track took longer than expected, and I often found myself fumbling through the different menus trying to figure out how to adjust specific elements. The learning curve is steep, and despite the game offering some tutorials, they didn’t always feel comprehensive enough to guide me through all the tools and options. One of the things that stood out was the lack of instant satisfaction. In games where you build tracks, it’s common to quickly throw something together and have fun testing it. But in Bob’s Track Builder Pro, the focus is more on precision and control, and this requires time and practice to master. It’s clear that the program is made for players who are willing to invest the time to get good at it, but for a casual player like me, it felt like there was a lot of trial and error involved in those first few hours. Despite the frustrations, I could see how much potential the game has once you get the hang of it. The ability to customize tracks down to the smallest detail is incredibly rewarding, and I can imagine the satisfaction of creating the perfect track once I learn how to use the tools more efficiently. However, after 3 hours, I’m still far from being comfortable with all the features, and it definitely feels like a game that requires a lot of patience and practice to get the most out of. Overall, Bob's Track Builder Pro is a great tool for track-building enthusiasts, but be prepared for a steep learning curve. If you’re looking for something that’s easy to pick up and play, this isn’t it. But if you’re willing to invest the time to learn the ropes, the creative possibilities are endless, and the game can be incredibly rewarding. 7/10.

Good Software easy to understand

Je souhaitais créer mes propres spéciales pour RBR sans me prendre la tête avec Blender ou 3ds Max car la modélisation c'est un métier à part entière et demande du temps que je ne possède pas. Après quelques recherches sur RBR RSF j'ai remarqué que certaines spéciales sont faites avec BTB et je me suis donc rendu sur la page steam de Bobs Tracks Builder et c'est exactement ce dont j'avais besoin. Certes l'outil n'est pas aussi complet que blender ou 3ds max mais ce n'est pas le but premier de celui-ci, il nous permet d'aller à l'essentiel en modélisant une spéciale et d'exporter facilement ses dernières afin de rouler dessus. Très simple d'utilisation, de nombreux XPACKS (Objets, textures...) sont disponible sur RaceDepartment. Je recommande pour ceux qui veulent testé la création de ses propres spéciales. Avec un peu d'expérience sur celui-ci je pense qu'on peut arriver à des résultats sympas.
