Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.71/day in the week to Aug 24 → 2.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Hi, I’m Thorin — the solo developer behind Blossom, also known as Pebbledust Games.
This is a project I’ve been building on my own, inspired by the games I grew up with — the ones that didn’t constantly hold your hand. You had to experiment, pay attention, and slowly figure things out for yourself. I wanted to bring back that feeling of discovery, in a calm, more relaxing survival experience where the main goal is simple: bring a dead planet to life.
So what exactly is Blossom?

Clear the fog by increasing the pressure and form ice. Melt it into water by raising the temperature. Convert martian dust into soil, then green the planet with algae. Plant flowers and trees to generate oxygen and turn the sky blue. Grow forests and create biomes then create life by incubating insects, birds and animals.

Explore an unknown planet. Travel across Mars on foot, by rover, and through the air, reaching distant regions to find resources or to simply watch the results of your terraforming efforts. Discover abandoned stations, ancient machines, and wrecked ships. Visit orbital platforms, and piece together what happened to Earth and those who came before you.
You play as Blossom, a small but capable robot built to survive where humans cannot. Managing energy is central to gameplay: power your movement, tools, and machines to stay operational in a harsh environment. Playing as a robot changes how you interact with the world. Electricity replaces food, so careful energy management becomes key to progress.
Gather Mars’ resources, refine materials, automate using drones, build tools, machines and structures. Unlock blueprints, upgrade your technology, and construct bases that grow alongside the planet, supporting terraforming, exploration, and survival in increasingly complex ways.

Build and customize modular rovers, attach functional modules like batteries, storage, and mining lasers, and chain them into convoys. Drive across the planet, mine on the go, and create fully mobile or stationary outposts wherever exploration takes you. Your base is not tied to one place. It moves with you, enabling true planetary-scale exploration.
Sums Steam only; GOG publishes no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.

it was cute and definitely made the time worth the effort
Worth playing. It's a more simplistic approach to the survival genre, but that is ok. The artwork is pretty good, animals and flora animation isn't quite AAA; but, it really doesn't matter. I would definitely suggest playing the hardest difficulty available, once you get things going it's hard to really fail. Hardcore 1 life/1 save is only available after you beat it, but it gets a little easy managing your power/resources once you figure things out. The only negative would be getting stuck, but there is an unstuck feature and you can save/load when that doesn't work. The wires would sometimes glitch, running a new line often solved that. Progression is "fine", but often times I felt like I was leveling quicker then I could build some of the tech and the higher tech prob could probably use some "harder" crafting requirements. I played for 68 hours, there was a bit of AFK and I could have really not wasted the whole time exploring for new resources and moving my base around for long periods of time. 40-55 hours of playtime, the story is ok, which is fine. "Finding" the 2 bikes and the wagon was a nice touch, I wish the planet was bigger and the ability to dig for minerals and raise/lower/level the landscape would be nice additions. Lot's of value for the money that is spent.

This is a fun and simple game. It would be excellent for children, but it's also relaxing for adults. The 'depth' is pretty shallow, and it's quite linear for a 'building' game. (However, I've noticed that all terraforming games are.) However, the mechanics are top-notch. Needing to plug-in your vehicle (and yourself..as you're a robot) turned into something that was a lot of fun rather than a chore. Base-building was difficult. The way the power connections work made it quite hard to have any sort of useful structure or organization. You kinda just went with 'sprawl.' Also, expanding your base was very difficult with how they imagined the printers. Chaining them was very tedious. ( Also, building an actual base with the housing components you sometimes found was a non-starter. There's absolutely no reason or function for building a habitat.) Overall, I liked it. It was cute and worked well. The 'grind' wasn't overwhelming. I don't know that there's much replayability to it though. Even the coop mode seems like it would just end up being a 'speed run.'
Blossom is a cute and unique terraforming game. You build up a main base, but you also build a mobile outpost in the form of wagons you can attach to your rover or yourself. It does a good job of having different phases of the game feel "solved." For example, your battery life is a huge limiter early on, but it gets to the point where you build the battery upgrades/buildings and then it's not an issue and you can move on to another challenge. Inventory can get a little cluttery but overall it's low on micromanaging, and the later automation stuff is fun. I love the little drones flying around helping me.
This game may be on the shorter side, but it scratches that Astroneer/Planet Crafter itch. If you’re interested in an enjoyable chill experience with some minor bugs, this one is for you. Pros (subjective):

The story is interesting and simple, with a more fulfilling ending compared to that of Astroneer.
The core gameplay loop (gathering, crafting, building) and terraforming the planet doesn’t feel like a chore and is enjoyable.
The game doesn’t hold your hand and tell you exactly what you need to do every step of the way. You are given objectives and are nudged in the right direction, but aren’t railroaded the entire playthrough.
I love that you are able to view electric and water networks early on instead of it being gated behind hefty tech progression.
Cons:

POIs aren’t that interesting. They contain fragments of the lore and sometimes blueprint disks for habitat rooms or usable decorative items (chairs, beds, a jukebox, etc) but feel more like a set piece used to tell the story.
Habitats have no use in gameplay, as there is no need to build one outside of pure aesthetics.
The animations for animals are… interesting. They can be immersion-breaking, but this is pretty minor all things considered.
Frame drops are bound to occur in the endgame with all the animals roaming about.
Tech progression and terraforming are quite fast.
A beautiful game 9/10.
fun
This game is so amazingly well done. The co-op feature is still in beta when I post this and really the issues are already set to be addressed. The story, progression speed, content, and everything is really nice. You can play it alone but is so much better with friends. If you want a feel good, heart string pulling game to play, I highly recommend this one. **Just know you're supposed to die a bunch when you start. Don't let that detour you from enjoying this beautiful game. You respawn so you're ok!**
I’m still early into blossom: the seed of life, so I don’t feel like I’ve seen enough yet to give a full verdict. But so far, I’m really enjoying it. I like the world, the exploration and the feeling of slowly figuring out what’s going on. And Blossom herself is honestly very cute🌱🤖 I’ve seen quite a few people mention being disappointed with the ending, which does make me curious about how the game will hold up as I get further into it. I’m hoping there’s enough to discover and that the game stays engaging right up until the end rather than feeling too short. So far though , I’m having a lot of fun with it and I’m looking forward to seeing where this journey goes.
