There's a bit of a learning curve to get over. The user made guides on the steam community page are amazing though and will help you get over the initial hump. The investment in time is eventually very worth it. The game loop is fun - and because the game is designed around no save scumming, you end up having some really tense moments. It's really rewarding to get a warband up to high levels, but it's also not totally devastating if you lose it as starting again isn't a total chore. Absolutely recommend this game and it's often on sale. Extremely good performance on the steam deck - actually my preferred way to play it.
I had the perfect plan: flank the enemy and use my leader's magic buff to make a devastating charge attack, crushing my foes. And then, the very first time I ever cast a spell in Mordheim, my leader miscast and exploded and I lost everything. Do video game get any better than this?
Game is horribly unbalanced. clearly weighted rolls to disadvantage the player.
♥♥♥♥ balancing
Remake or sequel PLEASE!!!
Rng is heavily weighted toward the ai, the enemy almost never misses while you constantly miss not to mention there is almost no way to gear you team well since the sshop is rng so you can just not get armor or weapons you need.
Ton of RNG and the worst UI I've seen in a while.
J'me contenterai du jeu actuel.
Come on, we need a new game like this
