Use voodoo magic and a big cannon to crush fortresses. It's a blend of physics decimation, hoarding resources, and RPG style enhancements.
Review of Blasted Fortress - 9th of January 2015 (version 1.15)
I would in its current state, at this price point, not recommend this game. There is more content coming supposedly, so I will update my review once that happens and I get a chance to try the updated version. The Good (Positive)

Level Editor is always a plus.
Simple fun for a casual game, took me about 1 hour 15-20 min to finish all content, probably able to do it in 1 or less. (Note: This does not include achievements, just unlocking all things in-game etc.)
The Bad (Negative)

Gets very repetitive, very fast.
The other ammunition feels weak. I ended up only using the first 2 types (normal cannonball and 3-shot). Leveling up the passive perks didn't feel to make any considerable change.
Feels like there is still a lot of unused potential, fixable in content patches. F.ex would be nice to upgrade the Farm to get more money per meat, etc.
There are three spells in the game, but I think I used them 5 times and that was that. Feels like a waste buying the one-time use spells.
The Meh (Neutral/mixed)

The vault/hoard where you can choose to save money is very nice, and seeing the money spray all over once you start filling it up is nice. However, gaining gold goes very slow, and you use it to purchase all your ammunition.
With the slow gold rate I ended up making a new level in the editor that was filled with the resource boxes. This gave me some decent income, but at the same time it had the possibility to crash the game cause of just too much happening.
I had a few cases where there game turned extremely sluggish and was chugging along at 3-5 FPS. From what I noticed this happens when a block gets semi-stuck at the start of a level, which seems to affect the physics engine.
The "boss" fights are kinda meh, as they are all more or less exactly the same. Another thing that could be resolved with a patch.
Overall, not the worst game in history, but very repetitive and the lack of content (unlock everything in 1 hourish) makes this a not recommended purchase as of now, in my opinion.. In a video I watched on YouTube that was posted in October last year, the developer mentions that Blasted Fortress 2 is underway. This should also make you really consider if you should get this game or not. Hopefully they do not keep back features etc, and put those in BF2, but we will have to wait and see.

This is a simple and fun physics-based castle siege game, though at the moment there's not much going for it. In terms of game mechanics there is not a whole lot -- 6 ammo types and 3 spells -- mostly stuff you can find in a lot of flash games. The gameplay feels rather bland too, despite the variety of tools available. It's pretty much shoot any enemies that shoot back, then mash away at the building. The several dozen different levels help alleviate the feeling of grinding through the game, and an in-game level editor allows for some creative fun, so it could be worse. As far as presentation goes the game uses a pixelated aesthetic and the building tiles look a little Terraria-like. Updates are planned though, so it might get more interesting. At the moment though I find it hard to recommend the game at full price.
This game could be so much more. As it is, the levelup mechanics are severely underwhelming, leaving you feel like you are in charge of a pea shooter, not a canon. The fortresses you destroy oftentimes contain unbreakable objects, protecting and blocking your shells from destroying resource crates. Edit: Replayed 8/16/2015 Most of the unbreakable objects are now breakable(Great!). Plungers still get in the way sometimes(Rare, bad). The game seems highly dependent on the minigame to fund your campaign of war(Irritating, bad). Occasionally siege mode can glitch and fail to give you your objective, despite having brought all treeasure to the ground(Very Bad). I still feel in charge of a pea shooter, not a cannon.
The game is bland. There are blocks, you shoot them. There's a bit of tactic involved, but mainly it's just mindless grinding. The non-campaign level get old very fast and the campaign doesn't help to make things more interesting. You can unlock better cannonballs (which gave me the wrong achievement), but it doesn't help the gameplay much. With a bit more effort the game could be interesting, but as it is there's just not much in it to keep you playing.
Current Review: While this game remains casual, the mechanics have recieved an overhaul and are less grindy than before even though it still remains grindy. The new feautres added to the game actually add a decent dynamic (randomness). This game is now priced reasonably at 4.99, and is worth more than 30minutes of gameplay. I still hold true to waitting for a sale and then gifting it to your enemies, they might forgive you for buying them Bad Rats last year. Previous Review: Very casual game, mechanics are simple and very repetitive leading to grindy gameplay. Hopefully more stuff is added to this game in the future. In it's current condition, although I only played 30 minutes, this game is not worth $7.99. Wait until this game goes on sale for $.99 and then gift it to your enemies (unlike Bad Rats this game gets boring fast).
Fun, good concept, but too too grindy. Not enough fun collapsing towers over and over again to keep me interested, yet I still finished it. No progression of new rocks to throw, only different kinds at one tier higher above tossing pebbles.

Edit . Developer fix the game . now i can play again .
Physics puzzle game where you shoot a cannon at different speed/angles to achieve objectives. Has some upgrading and stuff.
