I recommend this game if you're eyeballing it. I don't care what anyone tells you, THIS IS A SOULS-LIKE GAME, which I'm a huge fan of. However, I really wanted to love this game, but it's not for me, even though I respect and appreciate it. Stunning visuals, variety, intricate combat system, and creative story telling. However, the story feels all over the place and uncompelling. The combat system is too grindy. The staff (main weapon) is too weak and the bosses have too much HP. For me, it translates to grindy and tedious boss fights, though many will strongly disagree with me. I prefer a more direct approach with a larger skill gap. An example would be Sekiro: which is my favorite souls-like game. Utilize that information as you will.
