Muy buena versión, pongo este por encima del Half Life original, especialmente si es la primera vez que lo juegas. La única queja es la duración, Xen es grandioso, pero unas 3 horas se las podían ahorrar.

Exactly what a video game remake should be! I loved the visuals and how it helped guide the player much easier to where they needed to go! the final area is much more of an area and more fun all and all improves the original game for me ! 8.5/10

Bir efsanenin remake versiyonu. En iyi remake yapımlarından biri. Black Mesa'nın en sevdiğim yanı, sadece eski bir oyunu yenilemeye çalışmaması. Half Life'a duyduğu saygıyı her saniye hissettirmesi. Bir remake yapılacaksa bence tam olarak böyle yapılmalı. Orijinal oyunun ruhuna en ufak zarar vermeden, günümüz teknolojisiyle yeniden hayat vermişler. Source motorunun dibini sıyırmışlar adeta. Her bölümde, her detayda ve her müzikte bu projeye duyulan sevgiyi hissetmek mümkün. Ortam, kişiler, diyaloglar, bölüm dizaynları, boss fightları, müzik her şey çok iyiydi. Özellikle müzikler... Joel Nielsen reis döktürmüş, muazzam bir iş çıkarmış. HEV Suit ile ilgili detaylar da oyuna renk katmış. Gelelim Xen bölümlerine. Yıllar önce eksik kalmış hissini veren o yabancı dünyayı alıp görsel bir şölene dönüştürmüşler. Bölümler çok harikulade tasarlanmış. Oraya ilk adım attığım an atmosferi ve arkada çalan müzikle beraber hissettiğim hayranlığı tarif edemem. Ben rahatsız olmadım ama tek eksiği Xen bölümleri gereğinden fazla uzatılmış ve bazı bulmacalar da akışı biraz yavaşlatabiliyor. Buna rağmen Xen'in atmosferi ve tasarımı o kadar başarılı ki, bu küçük eleştiriler genel deneyimin yanında gölgede kalıyor. Böyle güzel bir projeyi yıllardır büyük bir titizlikle ilmek ilmek işleyip hayata geçirdikleri için teşekkürler Crowbar Collective. Ben oyunu 3 kere bitirdim. Her oynayışımda ayrı bir zevk aldım. Half Life evrenine meraklı olan herkesin oynayıp deneyimlemesi gereken bir oyun.

good game. captures some of the HL 1 feeling BUT the levels are bloated and especially towards the end they are annoyingly long. Abiotic Factor IMHO offers the better HL 1 experience --> should be GOTY :)
