Steuerung am Keyboard ist furchtbar und irgendwie fehlt dem Spiel sehr stark an...Substanz. Kann es leider nicht empfehlen.

Don't be fooled by the game's generic name, it is anything but generic! This eloquently title Bird Game is a nice little experience with a unique artstyle and a relaxing yet challenging gameplay. Worth the small price.
I completely forgot about this game, for whatever reason I preordered it and never thought about it again lol

Bird game is a fine a little game. The art style is where it shines. it's good for some time just to see the black and white drawings. But controlling the bird isn't very fun. There is a wind mechanic that kind of takes away the fun of just flying around as the bird. It's kind of a rail shooter with the shooter aspect. I like that idea, but in the best rail shooters it is fun to move the ship. it's not fun be the bird.
I remember playing this in the arcades and loving it back in the day. I replayed it through this re-release and realized wow what a shiddy ahh game. Thankfully this game only takes 12 of my quarters instead of the hundreds it took from me to beat it back in the day, no wonder they shifted from this to multiplayer based bird action in future installments. Bird Game 3 ON TOP!
It's the "bad" kind of difficulty that comes mostly from being unable to figure out whether you get hit by an attack or not, slightly frustrating controls and inconsistent checkpoint pacing. The monochrome art style is nice and all (and the reason I bought it), but imo it'd be much more appropriate for a chillout game instead of bullet hell.
