My first impresssion of this game is just ok, not great also not bad. While there are some criticism about certain part but overall impression i was very satisfied from beginning to the end (albeit rescuing adams become repetitive to the end of the game). I played in hard difficulty and it does strike that balance well (except some part with enemy just literally showed up and killed me instantly). My gameplay criticism was fixed in sequel is about plasmid mechanic placement but at the same time is really iconic one (struggling to switch plasmid in tight situation)

Finished BioShock for the first time at 39 years old. Back in the PS2 era, piracy left me with a massive backlog of games I always meant to play but never truly experienced. I never expected BioShock to be one of them. Finishing it reminded me of something important: great games never get old. In an age of endless notifications, short videos, and doom-scrolling, giving a game your complete attention feels almost like a forgotten skill. If there's a classic sitting in your backlog, don't worry about how old it is. A masterpiece is a masterpiece, whether you play it at 19 or 39. Sometimes all it takes is unlocking your curiosity, putting distractions aside, and allowing yourself to get immersed. The experience can be just as powerful decades later. Games don't get old. Sometimes we just need to rediscover how to play them. 🎮
