Bionic Commando

Update: I BEAT THIS GAME ON STREAM AND IT WHIPS. EVERYONE SHOULD PLAY THIS. IT'S LIKE TEN BUCKS OR SOMETHING AND I BET IT GOES ON SALE A BUNCH This game is AMAZING honestly. I think a lot of the negativity that comes from things other than the bugs involves the fact that you really do need to engage with the game's systems beyond just treating it as a third-person shooter, though I gotta admit that the radiation system is kinda miserable at times. The story is very clearly a pastiche of a lot of 80s action flicks and if you go into it with all these things in mind, you'll have a great time. Runs great on modern hardware too. Native 4K, high framerate support (with mouse issues if you go above 60fps), Just generally plays like a dream. Full-throated recommendation.

Talvez em uma promoção possa valer a pena, o jogo é um pouco divertido, é legal ficar se balançando, mas a historia é bem fraca, inimigos repetitivos, som sem graça, gráficos estranhos... foi legal a intenção de fazer um remake em 3D do jogo antigo, mas acho que faltou um pouco mais de carinho, mais polimento!

Voto: 6.7/10 Bionic Commando è un action TPS molto particolare che si regge quasi interamente su una sola idea: il braccio bionico e la mobilità basata sulle oscillazioni. Il gameplay è sicuramente il punto più riuscito del gioco. Muoversi tra gli edifici, lanciarsi, afferrare oggetti e usarli come armi crea un sistema di combattimento diverso dal classico sparatutto in terza persona. La distruzione ambientale e alcune situazioni scriptate ben costruite danno anche momenti abbastanza memorabili. Tuttavia, il gioco mostra diversi limiti. I controlli non sono sempre precisi e il sistema di aggancio del braccio richiede pratica, con alcune situazioni in cui la risposta non è perfettamente affidabile. Anche il comparto tecnico non è sempre solido, con animazioni, collisioni e IA non sempre convincenti. Le armi sono la parte funzionale ma chiaramente secondaria rispetto al braccio, mentre alcune missioni risultano ripetitive nel lungo periodo. La storia è poco incisiva e i personaggi non sono particolarmente sviluppati, rendendo la narrazione meno interessante rispetto al gameplay. In generale, è un titolo con un’idea forte ma non sempre rifinito nella sua esecuzione.
