About
Big Walk is a cooperative multiplayer adventure about teamwork and talking.
Set out with your friends through a wide-open world full of challenges, puzzles, and discoveries. You’ll need to work together to find your way around, stay in contact using an assortment of tools and toys, and figure out new ways to communicate when you suddenly find yourself speechless.
Adventuring aside, there’s plenty of time to just hang out. Sit and watch the sunset, or steal your friend’s binoculars and kick them into the ocean. Spending time with friends is the best part of a big walk.
Talking!
Our proximity voice chat system makes voices fade across distances, echo down corridors, muffle through walls, and crackle through walkie-talkies
Walking!
Find your way around an open world together, at your own pace
Arms!!
Point, wave, and gesture (or just flail around wildly) to communicate in situations where talking isn’t an option
Tools and Toys
Walkie-talkies, laser pointers, binoculars, megaphones, flares, whiteboards (?), cowbells (??), a big golden head (???) and more
Flexible Player Count
Big Walk can be played with as few as 2 players (i.e. a focused co-op experience) or as many as 12 (i.e. an absolute mess)
Crossplay
Play online with your friends on other platforms
An Ending
Big Walk is a hand-crafted cooperative adventure meant to be played start-to-finish with a group of friends
Big walk is an experience.
and it is honestly the best game I have ever played. The puzzles are amazingly designed, simple enough for anyone to understand and figure out but adding the need for multiple people to communicate the answers, and then restricting that in different ways so the real puzzle is figuring out new ways to communicate with your friends is such a genius concept. Normally I would say to always go into puzzle games blind, but I think even if you saw a full playthrough of this game, (apart from the end mystery) your experience wouldn't be any worse for it because the real game is with your friends. You can't access anything on your body without someone else to help you, there are no puzzles you can do alone, almost everything requires someone else to help you, everything is unnamed so you create in-group names around every item and puzzle object and location. The world design plays into into it too, getting lost and trying to find your friends again is fun more than frustrating. Getting around the map to find takes time and you end up just hanging out, which is where the game really shines. More than a game, it is an excellent place to chill with friends and the atmosphere, game design, puzzles, and traveling all reinforces this.

big walk
One of the most enjoyable co-op experiences I have had. Played through it in 2 player mode with my partner and found every puzzle to be basically perfectly designed. The ending challenge is so rewarding after spending hours figuring out how to communicate with each other in previous puzzles. The game works best when you have long play sessions, when things you did an hour ago end up helping (or hindering) you in the now. An absolute must-buy for fans of walking and talking.
when the walk is big
It's not friendslop. It's friendcinema.
The ending is absolutely worth it.
From the music, to our weird lil guys, to the sunsets and sunrises, the chaotic scrambles for a lost walkie-talkie, to the excitement of solving a difficult puzzle, I loved everything about this game.
no me deja jugar, me sale todo el rato conectando
Great game! Absolutely doable with only 2 people. My sister and I played and completed the game 100%. Saw everything there was to see and it didn't feel like we NEEDED more people. Cute art style, fantastic sound design, great graphics. We are sad to be done but made some amazing memories. 9.5/10
