Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Jul 26 → 0.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Three months ago, Celestial Stones Research (CSR) abruptly shut down their massive excavation beneath the Great Pyramid. CSR officials openly acknowledge the discovery of colossal pillars beneath the great pyramids, but insist the site was closed strictly due to a lack of resources. Unofficial reports from local authorities tell a different story: something terrible happened down there.
One month after the site was sealed, ambitious freelance reporter Alex Levine went there to uncover the truth. He never returned.
Now, authorities have recovered his belongings. Among them is a single, heavily degraded VHS tape documenting his final hours.
The footage is extremely disturbing. You are strongly advised not to watch it.
But you will anyway.

Saw this on my recommended. I'll be 100% honest as I know the creator would want the players to be... It's scary... Don't get me wrong, it genuinely is creepy - but it lacks depth. The creeks and cracks are great for ambience but they're overshadowed by the should of fuzzy VHS sounds and breathing. I had to turn down the VHYS and breathing sounds as it almost ruined the atmosphere. By all means, keep them in there, just make them a little less "in your face". Also, add difficulty levels, or take way the feature that you can get hit multiple times, because it makes the game 10x more eerie knowing that you're one swipe away from being done over! Ambience:- 6.5/10. Fear:- 7/10. Gameplay:- 9/10. Overall:- Solid 8.5/10.
Solid game. i liked the demo, and this expanded on it quite well. Bit short for my liking but the dev put in a fair amount of effort to make it, and it runs fantastic. Well done!!

UPDATED REVIEW: Solid game! I really enjoyed playing it with my chat! You don't see many indie horror games taking on the egyptian ruins theme, so it was definitely a pleasant surprise! My original review addressed some bugs that popped up in my initial playthrough, but the dev was quick to reply and patch the game! (I legit break every game I play so this is nothing new) After finishing the game I still have a couple critiques: 1) The game is MEGA DARK, which makes sense because a core mechanic is the night vision on the camera. That said, it is near impossible to see most of the batteries you have to pick up unless you are right on top of them and the games UI tells you there are there. I recommend making these shine/glow in some way. 2) Like the previous point, there was a key / ankh that you needed to get before dropping down out of a room. This item is entirely missable with no real way to go back and get it if you do miss it (which happened to me my first time playing), and caused me to softlock. above all else, this ankh needs to glow, or there needs to be a barrier/wall blocking the players progress until it is picked up. Overall good game! I think the price is steep, but for a debut title I think the dev did a good job overall, and created something unique. ========================== ORIGINAL REVIEW: Really enjoyed the game, but sadly couldn't finish it because I hit 2 game-breaking bugs/oversights. After the chase sequence in the catacombs area that requires you to get the lever before going back to the large door in the central room - I failed to notice the lever and didnt pick it up. I ran ahead, and was locked back in the main room with the large door that said "lever is missing" with no way back or forward since I didn't have the lever. I decided to reset and start a new game to speedrun back to where I was, but unfortunately I couldn't because the game even in a "new game" saves some weird state from the previous save where I can't even access the first cave to the left of where you spawn in at the start of the game. (when you are outside) There is just a big pillar fallen over blocking the cave. A second restart of the game had the same issue with no way to progress. Hopefully this gets fixed. The game is actually quite good overall.
Entretenido y con buena atmósfera vhs, pero escenarios creepy vagos y ni hablar de su longitud casi nula. Compren solo si les sobran unos mangos
sorry. sieht nen bissel gut aus, aber spielerisch richtig mau.
Incredible game, I never got stuck somewhere, and every chase was absolutely intense I almost lost my voice because of all the screaming! I would highly recommend it! 10/10
Okay, wow, I didn't expect it to be ... that short. After having played half of an hour, I reached the end. Was the game fun? Nah, it wasn't really a full game, but if you like egyptology you might easily get yourself found in a beautiful graphics demo hat ends when others start. Until then, I encountered beautiful wall textures and shadow games together with an eerie lighting that turly hits the spot. Most of the times. I think that even for 5 € or so, there could have been some details that could have needed more work. I think of the sand which looks like a flat layer. And I think of the ending which was ... well, the room it happens shows that most of the impressive graphics are achieved through those beautiful VHS-filters, which truely show how realistic a game can look nowadays. If you want a more complete experience, I recommend "Dead Format". If you're just looking for half an hour of grave digging, take a look at "Below".
I was annoyed by the demo of this game and quit for whatever reason. This is better than the demo. But the entire game, as far as i know, takes around 30 mins, which could have been longer.
Best game ive ever played 10/10
