Every life has a story. Every story has regret. But what if you could change the past? LOVE is a puzzle game about finding the things we’ve lost in ourselves and the people who help us find them.

LOVE - A Puzzle Box Filled with Stories was a fun relaxing series of puzzles with a nice soundtrack. Some of the clues/puzzles you knew exactly where to go while others made you do a little more thinking and exploring. For me, made for a nice balance and leaves me looking forward to what Rocketship Park launches next. Not a very long review, mostly just wanted to show my support with a recommend.
Recomendo!
Reviewed on: 11/26/2021 Quick thoughts: Cute little puzzle game, Love is a theme not explored to often in games so it was a nice change of pace, That said some of the puzzles were not very intuitive and lead to frustration as the game has no hint system and what you can click on isnt always made super clear. Worth it if you want a calm afternoon killer and you can get it on a deep sale. --Audience -- ☐ Beginner ☑ Casual Gamer ☑ Normal Gamer ☐ Expert ---{PC Requirements}--- ☐ High (State of art) ☐ Medium ☑ Low ☑ Ultra low (Everyday computer) § Bugs/glitches § ☐ Broken ☐ Lots of bugs ☐ Few Bugs but nothing bad ☐ Framedrops/graphical issues ☑ Nothing encountered ☯ Story ☯ ☐ There is none ☐ Bad ☐ Campy ☑Passable ☐ Good ☐ Fantastic ☼ Graphics ☼ ☐ Bad ☑ Alright ☑ Good ☐ Beautiful ☐ Fantastic ♬ Music/Score ♬ ☐ Bad ☐ Alright ☐ Good ☑ Beautiful ☐ Fantastic $ Audio effects/Dialoge $ ☐ Bad/Makes game worse ☐ None ☑ Gets the job done ☐ Good ☐ Immersive and engaging! ☠ Difficulty ☠ ☐ Easy ☑ Average ☐ Easy to learn / Hard to master ☐ Hard ☐ Unforgiving/Souls like ⚔ Gameplay ⚔ ☑Simple ☐ Simple to start hard to master ☐ Frustrating ☐ Fun But Challenging ---{Grind}--- ☐ Intense Grind is The gameplay ☐ Typical MMO grind ☐ Optional parts with some requried (upgrades and such) ☐ Optional parts with none requried (Collectables) ☐ Very little grind but not zero ☑ No grind ۞ Game time / Length ۞ [if you complete everything] [if you focus on the main story] ☑ Really short (0 - 3 hours) ☐ Short (4 - 8 hours) ☐ Few hours (10 - 20 hours) ☐ Long (40-60 hours) ☐ Very Long (61-100 hours) ☐ Extremely Long (101+ hours) ---{Worth playing?}--- ☑ Yes ☐ No $ Price / Quality $ At time of reivew___ ☐ Full price ☐ Wait for Sale (25-50%) ☑ DEEP DEEP SALE (51-90%) I Would say less than $5 personally ☐ Pass PC SPECS: I7 6700K GTX 1060 6gb 32 gigs of ram
LOVE has incredible potential, but its vagueness undermines the storytelling.
The concept immediately caught my attention and made me eager to play, but it didn’t take long to realize the execution was off. While the game offers a unique premise, it falls short in delivering a cohesive experience. The core mechanic—manipulating scenes to reveal outcomes in relationships, past and present—is simple but leaves too much room for ambiguity. This is where the game stumbles. Some scenarios feel disjointed or unclear. For instance, you’re shown an image of a teen with a plane labeled “PAST” and then expected to deduce that a man with a woman in the same room represents the “PRESENT.” I understand what the game is trying to convey, but it feels too abstract and lacks the emotional depth it aims for. There’s so much potential for richer storytelling. The game could have explored how relationships evolve, perhaps through narration or a series of more tangible, connected scenes. Anything to help the player feel more invested in the stories unfolding would have made the experience more memorable. This vagueness also affects gameplay. At times, solving puzzles feels like a guessing game, with unclear objects or actions. You end up pressing buttons at random, hoping to stumble upon the solution. It’s frustrating when the logic feels counter-intuitive. In the end, LOVE feels like a missed opportunity. While it may work as a relaxing puzzle game, the lack of a clear narrative or rewarding gameplay makes it ultimately forgettable and I cannot recommend this game. Rating: 5/10
Está bien perrón
It feels like the devs poured their hearts into this one, and I'm glad they did. The concept, art and music are perfect, and the only problem is that the puzzles can feel obscure. Part of this is unavoidable - there are 4 sides to the building, multiple floors and both past and present, so you can only see a subset of the information at once. Additional subtle hints or signposting would've helped me, but still I enjoyed this charming and unique game.
I loved the idea of the game but found it very crude to play. Wished there was more creative input in the storyline. The game is lacking in visuals and narrative - the two of the points that should`ve been the strongest...
★★★☆☆ Overall, I'd say...yes, I recommend it. But I didn't love it, just liked it. It was a really interesting puzzle game, but I didn't understand half of what the stories were - they needed more clarification. But the music was good and I liked the mechanic of turning the building around to find the pieces to the puzzles. I also didn't expect the game to make me tear up within the first 5 minutes! lol If you enjoy puzzles, I'd say give this a try. They have insanely good sales on this game - it's worth the cost if it's on sale.
