Sophie's Safecracking Simulator

A small scale but well polished simulator. I found it very fun as a puzzle experience, figuring out how to crack a safe without explicitly being told. The tutorial starts by walking through each component of a combination lock, with interactive examples. This was perfect for building an innate understanding for each part of the lock, and figuring out how you might crack simple parts before combining them to the final lock. Any time I got stuck, I simply moved onto the next section of the tutorial. I highly recommend this playstyle. Parts of the tutorial where Sophie goes into more detail about cracking a lock were harder to follow, Even after I had figured out the process, understanding some of the text was difficult. Don't be afraid to seek supplementary explanations at any point. But, the sheer fact I could figure it out on my own was a testament to how good an interactive tool this is, and how well structured the tutorial is as a whole. Give it a go :)

I bought a safe at auction with no combination provided. I was able to use this simulator to practice on. I spent about 45 minutes on this simulator to train my brain for the cracking process, then a hour or two of manipulation on the actual safe and I was in!! The only treasure inside was a VHS of Raiders of the Lost Ark, obviously somebody had a good sense of humor!!!

I would recommend to anyone interested in the inner workings of locking mechanisms!

Simple mechanic

this game is pretty challenging. i haven't won yet, but i hope to soon! this game is fun (so far) i got it in the curiosity box for free its great

This is one of those games I didn't know I wanted, bought it because it looked interesting and it really is, I have no idea if/when I would ever use this knowledge but I guess its another part of my skillset now.
