About
Beatblock is a headspinning rhythm game with a simple goal: hit blocks to the beat as the paddle-wielding Cranky. The song revolves around you, and it's your job to keep up. Twist your way through a variety of tracks, hone your skills with different block types, and groove to the music!
Meet the Atom Map, your guide to the beats and blocks you'll face. Start with the Intro to pick up the basics, then twirl through four different block types to get the hang of things! Every single song has its own unique visuals and style, so there's something for everyone to enjoy.
Once you've mastered the mechanics, you'll be ready for the Challenge levels- where block types get combined, and experts are forged. Push your endurance even further in the Marathon mode against a back-to-back selection of songs and maybe discover the unknown...
Put your creative skills to work with the built-in level editor, the same tool our development team uses for the main game's levels. Chart to your favorite songs, and take advantage of the editor's robust effects & functions to let the music shine!
Explore new mechanics across 25+ songs in the Atom Map, from learning the basics to tackling challenges!
More songs are planned for future updates to bring the final scope to 40+ songs!
Flow with the music in different ways with multiple block types.
Tailor-made visuals for every song to set the scene (or mess with you...)
Customize Cranky however you want with unlockable costumes!

cool
非常好游戏,这使我的鼠标旋转( 这或许算得上音游吧,如果算得上,那么对于新手来说非常友好。 可玩性极高,预感要是把汉化做好,这款游戏极有可能会成为第二个冰与火之舞。
very cool

:3 GAYYYY!!!!!!
cranky more like CLANKy
Fun rythm game! Altough there are only 6 notes, you quickly forget that while playing showing how well-done the charting is. Many of the songs are really good as are the decorations. 3D objects in a 2D game was unexpected Heavy customisation is welcomed as there's a level editor that should allow you to do everything seen in the campaign. However, I can't confirm that as I haven't sunk enough time into it. However you can make costumes for your Cranky which is good enough. Is he called Cranky because the Beatblock prototype was made for Playdate and that thing has a crank? Which you also used to control Cranky in it? The customisation even expands to the inner workings. Open the "packed" folder in your installation and look at the campaign levels in the level editor. There's even concept art and dev stuff! Also source code! But if there's one thing that I didn't like, then it has to be how underwhelming
Era Chimaera, the supposed final level
was. First off,
it gets unlocked too early after having more songs added to the game over time.
This could be fixed later on once Early Access ends so this is fixable. However that doesn't fix how the song was honestly worse than others featured in the game. In the beinning, it sounds like an ordinary credits song which it also does during many other parts. However when the drop comes, it becomes really good and honestly should've been expanded on. No offense to the musicians. If you are proud of it. Be proud of it. However I am not a fan. It could've honestly featured some samples from previous songs in the game. There's also this
Chimaera
that is only featured in the level art and for a few seconds in the level. It's a little underutilized considering the name of the level. Also unlike
DAMOCLISM
, another level featured in the game, there is no special gimmick apart from
revisiting all levels in the game which also is now due to more levels added during Early Access not as fun as it should be
. That wasn't the unique gimmick I was looking for by the way.
DAMOCLISM
is in fact due to it's unique gimmick and really good song a better level than
the supposed final one
I did spend a lot of time saying why I didn't like one particular level due to having my expectations set pretty high after promoting itself in the menus more than other ones which then ended up being underwhelming. I dont even know if it is an original song for Beatblock due to the lack of a little Cranky icon telling me it's a Beatblock Original Song meaning I don't even know if any changes are possible from the team coding the game, especially after suggesting samples from other original songs. As a player, this shouldn't stop you from picking this up and giving it a go. This also shouldn't stop the developers from continuing to maintain this game. Putting up to consideration what I said about one specific level is appreciated!
