I absolutely loved this game! The art and the music and the intriguing plot with the plot twists tie in so well together! The characters are adorable and relatable! I completely recommend it! It made me laugh and giggle but also cry and cheer for the characters! 10/10

Great story. Really enjoyed the playthrough. The characters are great and it was fun seeing all the paths before making it to the end.

it is a great relaxing game with mystery snuggled in there, and also has good heart felt moments that make you feel like you're in the game. in other words, i love this game.

The big gags in this game had me shocked and also I called it given I played way too many genres like this. But it was still very much an emotional rollercoaster and DEFINETLY A short game to keep yourself occupied!! I love it !!!!!

Beacon Pines is a beautiful mystery game! The story was less grounded than I expected it to be, but it was still fun. I did not mind the fantastical elements, and enjoyed that it balanced both the lighthearted and dark elements of the game. The story is very well written and had me hooked. All the characters had a lot of depth. Each route is unique enough for each turning point where it doesn't feel tedious to complete the other branches. I enjoyed that all branches need to be explored before finishing the game, but some people may not like that.

6/10 minimal complaints since i got this game for cheap. still recommend. main issues are with the storytelling. the story is good until you read closely into it. no spoilers. 1. tone and themes are inconsistent. the tone is childlike, as in the story reads as something a parent would read to a child before bedtime. but there are smatterings of light curse words. the gameplay feels apropos to teach a toddler vocab words. i have no issue with stories made with children in mind nor with cursing. the juxtaposition of the two is jarring at times though. ex. something like "haul ass" does not fit in with the overall vibe. 2. plot? the story reads better as experienced thru gameplay but when run continuously through a single path is kinda discombobulated. the ending is eh. there is little explanation on how the more existential threat is resolved. 3. audio mixing is unbalanced for the voice lines 4. the gameplay is unremarkable
