Good: ‣ Interesting way to present the campaign through multiple short WW1 War Stories instead of one long narrative. I preferred this format because each story feels compact, memorable, and distinct from the others. ‣ Very immersive and cinematic. ‣ Still has an active multiplayer community. It's currently the second most-played Battlefield game, so finding matches isn't difficult. ‣ The visuals have aged very well and don't feel outdated. ‣ Excellent sound design. ‣ Beautiful environments and maps. ‣ Detailed environmental destruction. Mixed: ‣ Since the game is nearly 10 years old, expect many multiplayer players to be experienced. New players will likely get stomped at first. ‣ When I first played around 7 years ago, I remember encountering cheaters in my games. After returning recently and playing some matches, I don't think I ran into a single one. The game now uses a kernel-level anti-cheat, which some players appreciate for reducing cheating, while others dislike because it's a kernel-level and don't trust EA with that. Bad: ‣ Requires EA Launcher. ‣ Not compatible with Steam Deck due to the anti-cheat. Overall, i think this is the best battlefield in terms of atmosphere, has a really good combat and it's pretty fun overall. Def worth getting when it's on sale (usually 3$).

«Отличная игра. Одна из лучших в серии, с интересными миссиями в кампании. Для своего времени — великолепный визуал. До сих пор можно легко найти много матчей в мультиплеере, но есть одно но: 90% этих игр будут с настройками, отключающими всё оружие и оставляющими только унылые дефолтные винтовки. Разработчики добавляли классы, разные способы ведения боя, прорабатывали геймплей, создавали всё это оружие и технику. Зачем-то же были добавлены танки и самолеты... Но нет, мы будем уныло стрелять из винтовок ради сомнительного реализма — видимо, кому-то это весело. Но игру всё же рекомендую. Нормальные катки найти всё равно можно, и играть в них весело».
