Battle Chess

Was introduced to me in the early 90's it's simple yet fun

This game was my childhood haha, it makes me smile everytime i play it. That said, it is literally just chess, what makes this game special for me is the animations, and how funny they are. But other than that, it's just chess. I still recommend it though, it is funny.

AWFUL. DO NOT BUY. COMPLETE RIP OFF. TERRIBLE ANIMATION. RIDICULOUS LAGS BETWEEN MOVES WHILE IT "THINKS" OF GOD KNOWS WHAT ON A PC 1000 TIMES MORE POWERFUL THAN IT HAD AVAILABLE WHEN ORIGINALLY RELEASED. HOW £6 CAN BE CHARGED FOR THIS IS DISGUSTING AND A TOTAL RIP OFF. DO NOT BUY IT. MUCH BETTER FREE CHESS GAMES ONLINE. I WANT A REFUND.

Crashed on first play :(

This is a great game to remind me of my Father, and Grandfather. I'm not that good at it, but I love to use it as a rememberance tool.

interesting. Cant go wrong with the "88" version

It's a classic, I remember my Dad and I playing this CD enhanced version, not the original dos. I also have it working with no edits to dosbox on windows 11.

In 3D mode, it's awesome to see what bishops, knights, etc, do to each other when capturing. But when it comes to seeing where the pieces are in relation to each other, & thus the best move to make, 2D mode is more advantageous.
