About
//Select a level, and aim your tower's artillery towards incoming enemies. BOOM! Grab any precious resources the enemies drop.
//The tower will inevitably fall. Under your command, it will rise even stronger. Fortify your tower with weapons and upgrades.
//Research new and increasingly powerful tech.
//Defend the Bastion until the end. You and your weapons research program are the last line of defense against the machine army. There's no telling if this reckless operation will allow Humanity to survive. What will happen when the horde becomes insurmountable?

Short sweet little tower game. It's not a tower defense, more like wave defense with a stationary tower. Good nonetheless. I got about 5 hours out of it with some AFK time in there adding to 6 hours
Sorry about the gameplay time. Offline mode does not bother to track it as playtime:
Incremental Action Done Well!
If you know me (which you probably don’t), I’m not usually a fan of incremental games. Most of them follow the same formula: load the game, walk away, and let it play itself. There’s little engagement, and the experience often feels repetitive. BastionOS, however, stands out. It’s a blend of semi-idle and interactive tower defense gameplay, keeps you involved for most of the journey. Towards the endgame, it does shift more toward an idle experience as you face endless waves of red minions threatening humanity’s last bastion, but by then, it feels well-earned as you sit back and relax knowing you did a lot of the heavy lifting, moving the artillary around to defeat each wave and boss. I didn’t 100% the achievements, only managed 50 out of 52, but I genuinely enjoyed my time. The game respects your time, offers a chill and relaxing experience, and gives you meaningful choices. Instead of forcing you down a "Hey! buy this next cheap upgrade" path, you have the freedom to choose your upgrades and playstyle. This flexibility lets you become stronger or weaker based on your early decisions, and it’s refreshing to see the developers embrace player decision instead of feeling too linear. The worlds atmosphere and sound scape does a lot for the relaxation as well. Overall, BastionOS is a great incremental game for anyone looking for something a little different from the genre’s usual fare. Kudos to the developers! Идеальная игра на 1 вечер, иногда может под фризить под конец из-за слишком большого кол-ва выпавшего ресурса.
Compelling tech tree with novel tower defense mechanics, all with a vector pixel art style that's hard to pull off.
This game is awesome, the UI, the game feel, it really is fantastic.
BastionOS is from the incremental games that i've played one of the best out there. It looks nice, upgrades feel like meaningful upgrades and an incremental game without a prestige mechanic. That doesn't mean this game doesn't have some faults though. I stated before that the upgrades feel meaningful but that isn't 100% true. There are some points in the game (more on this in a bit) where progress slows down and revisiting already cleared levels is required just because the current one doesn't award you enough materials even though the enemies start dropping more and more value. A problem I faced was that I got lucky a few times with crits and abilities that allowed me to clear a few levels beyond what I should have been able to clear (which became evident when I redid these levels afterwards with the same upgrades and couldn't even get close to clearing them) resulting in a slowdown of upgrading making it feel like a bit of a slog for a bit. This is partly however my own fault, I should have just went back to some lower levels to up the upgrades I was going for and trying again. BastionOS also has no creature compendium or the likes so needing to figure out what enemy was what for the achievements was a bit more difficult than I would have liked. Hopefully Feral Paw adds this in an update later. Overall though this is a really good incremental game
Super tight, very well designed progression and gameplay. You'll enjoy every second of your playtime. I restarted progression immediately after finishing the game, because I felt the itch to kill some more robots. I very rarely do that with incrementals. Bravo.
Mir gefällt alles daran. Holy cow!
