About
CoreBreaker: Desktop Swarm is a minimalist idle incremental brick-breaker game built to live on your desktop. Hostile robots are flooding the system. Wave after wave march down the corridor toward you. Your arsenal of bouncing Cores is all that stands between order and collapse. You build the defense. Then you watch it work.
Build it. Deploy it. Walk away. Upgrade your skill tree, unlock new Core types, then let CoreBreaker handle the rest. Run it in a corner of your screen while you work, browse, or do anything else. It plays itself. You just make it stronger.
Or take full control. Switch to full screen any time. Aim your Cores manually, react to boss waves, push further than idle mode can take you. Same build, same upgrades, completely different energy.
Your arsenal never stops growing. Seven Core types. Each with its own upgrade tree. Fire that spreads and explodes. Ice that freezes entire formations. Lightning that chains across six enemies at once. Laser that wipes whole rows in a single shot. Every upgrade changes how the game plays, not just how hard it hits.
The waves never stop either. Infinite enemies. Infinite scaling. Boss every fifth wave. When you die, you carry your multipliers into the next run and go further than before. There is no finish line. There is only further.
For me, it plays like a cool idle version of BallxPit, which is exactly what drew me to it in the first place. While some might find the visual style a bit generic and I didn't mind it at all because the core loop is solid. It serves as a good desktop companion if you enjoy this genre. What really keeps me coming back is the progression; upgrading your setup feels satisfying and delivers a genuinely fun sense of accomplishment. Plus, the developer has been killing it with continuous life updates and freshly added achievements to chase. If you are looking for a good idle game to park on your second monitor while you work or chill, this is definitely a good one to grab. *8/10*
This game is simple but really fun. Just leave it run in the corner. Come back. Numbers gone up. Buy stuff. Leave running. Come back and even bigger numbers waiting for you to either leave it running on its own or take control, Satisfying
got hooked even though it plays in the corner it made me want to do all by myself 10/10 would play again
To be honest this is not just a second monitor game, its so addictive I buy it as a desktop pet but played more than half hour on full screen. and it is best desktop pet, it just sit on bottom of your screen while you can work or do your own stuff.
I bought this game to fidget but I find myself on this game more than I do on my work :p I highly recommend it; the inventory and levelling up system is so addicting!
Simple idea, but weirdly addictive. For those who can't focus without multitasking, and to just relax and run in the background
Pretty fun game. I actually left it running in the background during a meeting, and after that, I bought some upgrades and started playing actively. I really like how it has a fully idle mode, but also lets you actively aim when you want to play. Definitely worth checking out
indie game, no big evil corp, no reason not to like. The big boxes will scare ya though so watch out for them
Simple concept, well executed. Easy to pick up, satisfying progression, and doesn't get in the way while you're using your PC. Looking forward to future updates.
