Pepper's Puzzles is a great puzzle game! It's fun and challenging!

44 hours to finish everything, including all workshop puzzles. This was a fantastic time and as good as Jupiter. I've been playing picross for decades. Highly recommend.

I've played several PC picross titles at this point, and this is the only one I recommend. There's more effort put into the puzzles to make them a bit more interesting to solve (e.g., avoiding raw symmetry), the quality of life features are good, and there's a lot of fun indie game references too.

[h1]Probably The Best Picross Game I've Played![/h1] ~Excellent number of puzzles. ~Wide variety of puzzle size, and difficulty. Size is up to 35 which I struggle with. ~Tutorial explains the rules and basic tips very well. ~'Maybe' button & mark is helpfull for counting out to see where blocks overlap and must be marked without using 'Not' marks which might be confusing. Not all picross games have this feature. ~Auto-greys numbers that are marked correct and have 'Not' marks behind & in front of them, and if all marks are the right number/amount in the row or column. This isn't cheaty as it will grey out numbers even if they're in the wrong spot. ~Background very slowly goes through different colors that I find pleasant. ~Music they licensed is fantastic to listen to while solving the puzzles.

that took me a lot longer than i expected

I love this game. It's pure classic picross. Two things that would take it from a great game to a perfect game: 1. screen wrap on puzzles. when i go to the top, bottom, or sides of a puzzle, let me wrap the cursor around to the other extreme. 2. "check for mistakes" or "show mistakes" option. some puzzles are just too hard for me and i'd like the option to see what mistakes i've made to help me finish the puzzle. i know this is probably a pain to implement since you also have the timer but maybe go the old school nintendo route and give a time penalty every time "show mistakes" is used? These are minor gripes that I think would improve the game. But don't get me wrong, there are so many puzzles this game is super worth the money as is. Don't sleep on it if you love picross.
