Awesome game to jump in and play! I played it on my Mac and on my Steam Deck. It's running flawlessly without any issues, and it's great for pick-up-and-play sessions.

Warning: Unpopular opinion incoming. BALL x PIT.. This one's interesting. It's a fun game that takes the classic brick breaker gameplay and turns it into something new, which, whether that's something good or not, is up to personal preference/taste/opinion. The game itself is fun - The resource gathering and playing with the town Tetris style is not. The best part of the game, which, to me, are the creative levels with a decent variety of enemies and traps, as well as pretty solid music, plus, of course, combining the balls and items to make up a strategy is locked behind this mechanic. The main issue with the town building isn't the mechanic itself, as much as the buildings that come later. At first, it's pretty easy to get everything under control, but when the simple shapes largely disappear around as early as levels 2 & 3, which are the snow/ice and the sand themed levels, you no can no longer make your town as neat and symmetrical as you could at the beginning, which can be frustrating, and quickly turns a unique and interesting mechanic into a bother. Now, do keep in mind, this review comes from somebody who is experimenting with roguelikes and roguelites, and from somebody who isn't great at Tetris, strategic thinking, managing resources or city building in games and in general, so that does affect my judgment, however, just as importantly, not all games are for everyone, and, to me, as much as I hate to say it, BALL x PIT is another roguelite disappointment that I have to add to my list. Once again, the game itself is solid, and it deserves the overwhelmingly positive reviews that it has at the moment, but it's not my cup of tea - Possibly, though I can't say that for certain, I may have had enjoyed this one better, if the town building had been, at the very least, optional, but judging from being able to come to the third level in the game and still having fun at that point, I think I could have had. All in all though, if you aren't into city/town building, resource management and that kind of stuff, you might find BALL x PIT getting quickly tiring or frustrating, so that's just a word of caution from me, and I think that concludes this review.

There are definitely "Soundgarden - Black Hole Sun" fans on the development team, otherwise I can't explain some things in the game...

Who knew a game about balls could be so addicting.
