Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 11.83/day in the week to Aug 6 → 31.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

After 17 hours played, I lost several hours of progress out of nowhere. First time this happens to me.. it is frustrating.
3/10 A top-down arcade shooter where your bullets so happen to bounce a little. I was really hoping for a more strategic game where you carefully aim your shots to make them bounce between targets over and over. Instead, it's more of a rapid-fire spray-n-pray shooter that is focused on avoiding incoming fire while collecting items strewn across the ground. The balls bounce a few times, but you'd hardly notice it if they didn't. Meanwhile, the gameplay is interrupted on average every 3 to 10 seconds by a level-up screen where you choose between upgrades so similar in end-result that it would have been far better if they were randomly chosen so as not to keep pausing the game over and over. There's a lot of other little annoyances as well. The above-ground base-building elements seem to exist solely to pad out the playtime, adding nothing to the experience. The music is generic and subpar. The confirmation buttons being labeled as "Whoa" and "Cool" are insultingly immature even for a game like this. All in all, it feels like a cheap phone app, and overall more grating than enjoyable.

fun

If you're looking for a brick-breaking roguelike with light city building mechanics, you're in the right place. There's tons of combinations, evolutions, fusions, accessories, characters, balls, enemies, bosses, stages, difficulties, and even new game plus. The sheer amount of content and competent gameplay mechanics makes this worth playing if the gameplay appeals to you. Even after completing all the achievements I haven't done everything there is to do in the game. That being said, if you just want to clear the game and enjoy the ride it might take around 15-20 hours. Overall, pretty fun game.
Not a good game; neither game mode is fun or engaging. Not a shooter at all, it's just floppy sloppy slop and you watch your balls bounce around. barely a game. at one point i just realized it was never going to get any better or more interesting, and that was when the spell was broken. i had been doing the heavy lifting hoping something would click, and it never did. i felt used and stupid afterward.
Very rarely do I buy games that then disappoint me. Unfortunately this is an exception to this. BALL x PIT has a great foundation, but it lacks any semblance of balance. For me, it only managed to be compelling at the start of my playthrough (up to about 5 hours). After that, seldom did i really struggle... The last stage was a difficulty spike; the enemies, the environment, and the boss felt harder and weirder - like a departure from what came before, which was GREAT. Although, I believe, this is how every level should be, not just the last one. In most of the levels, the bosses were trivial. Before playing the game I've heard the bosses were quite good, so that not being the case for me, was a major disappointment. The music is great - that is the one preconception I had, coming into the game, that turned out to be true. Lastly, the hitbox of the playable character was unintuitive. Even after completing the game, it didn't feel good moving the character and dodging projectiles. Sometimes the way a shot hit me was really baffling. Overall, the game feels occasionally clunky, almost always too easy, like a mobile game during some parts - but it has great music and a decent artstyle! Try it out, maybe it will be for you
