Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3/day in the week to Aug 14 → 5.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Ci ho giocato per la prima volta nel 1998 e già ne ero innamorato... dopo quasi 30 anni ci risiamo :D
I played this game for the first time when I was probably eight years old. I knew nothing about dungeons and dragons, and this game was my introduction to the world of this style of fantasy. Of course as a kid, I was terrible at it and died. Like a lot. But when I got older and played it again as a teenager, I absolutely fell in love with the story and characters. Now that I'm in my thirties, I still look back at this game as one that influenced my tastes in media so heavily throughout my life. This remaster of the game has always worked great for me. I've never had any bugs or glitches. Also it's great that I don't have to flip-flop through five discs like the original. They have kept the characters and story that I fell in love with, and the character art remains unchanged, although you can change it yourself if you'd like with mods. This is a game I always recommend, although I realize this style of top-down RPG's from the 90s isn't everyone's cup of tea. Regardless, the characters and lore make BG1 a staple for any fantasy RPG afficionado. There is a lot of reading involved, which I feel like is part of the charm. It was one of the first games I ever played that gave you decisions like this one does, which influenced how people reacted to you out in the world. These go on sale quite a bit. If you're wondering whether you should buy it, do it. You'll get sucked into the story and you'll never want to leave. Then, you'll go get sucked into BG2, and finally, move on to BG3, which is an entirely new beast. Ultimately, however, I always end up back to the originals.

I wasn't sure what to expect since this was an older game. I am having fun exploring each new map and the random encounters occasionally do truly catch me off guard.
finally after a long break , came back and finished the final boss , such an amazing game that really feels like a dnd party.
The good: It's BG1 but playable on modern PCs The bad: Beamdog content Also good: You can install a mod that removes most of the Beamdog junk (search A7-NoEENPCs), and skip SoD
经典的游戏,经典的视角,优秀的文本与设计可以让人忘记这是款技术,理念,画面,机制都落后时代的游戏
