Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.44/day in the week to Aug 4 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

has some pacing issues but overall it is a great game. It has very good world building and the combat is amazing with so many different attacks and enemies.

I really love visual novels with cyberpunk and romance. After finishing Muv Luv I finally startet with Baldr Sky an I it´s amazing. Like a crazy mix of Shadowrun and Muv Luv Alternative. The characters are also really charming. For the first route i played about 20 hours. Really captiving story. And i am not a really big fan of action gameplay in visual novels, but the mech fights are entertaining. Also the endig was great. For all with problems starting the game, just use the settings in the "Crashing on startup fix for windows 11 24H2" guide on steam and the game should run. Sadly some graphic errors remain on the black widescreen boder druing steam popups.

To me, this is a near perfect videogame. Enjoyed the hell out of those 100 hours. Unforgettable characters, amazing gameplay that stands on its own, and a plot that, even though it's far from being revolutionary or unique, tries to do lots of things at the same time, and shockingly delivers without failing horribly, with a great ending that wraps things up nicely. It truly is one of, if not the peak of the vn medium, and a true masterpiece.

Developed and published by Sekai Project, Baldr Sky is an ambitious blend of visual novel storytelling and high-speed action that successfully combines two genres often kept separate. It presents a sprawling cyberpunk adventure where emotional character drama, philosophical themes, and real-time mech combat work together to create an experience that feels both intellectually engaging and mechanically rewarding. Rather than relying solely on dialogue to carry the narrative, the game constantly alternates between story-driven sequences and challenging battles, making every major conflict feel meaningful within the larger plot. The story follows Kou Kadokura, a soldier who awakens after a disastrous mission with little memory of his past. As he pieces together fragments of his lost identity, he becomes entangled in a web of conspiracies involving military factions, advanced artificial intelligence, corporate interests, and the lingering consequences of a devastating event known as Gray Christmas. The narrative slowly unfolds across multiple routes, with each heroine contributing a unique perspective that reveals previously hidden aspects of the central mystery. This structure encourages players to experience every storyline, as each route expands the world rather than simply offering an alternate romance. Themes of memory, identity, grief, morality, and humanity's dependence on technology are explored with surprising depth, giving the lengthy script genuine emotional weight. The cast is one of the game's strongest features. Every major character receives careful development that extends well beyond typical visual novel archetypes. Relationships evolve naturally as secrets are uncovered, personal histories are revealed, and difficult choices reshape how the characters view one another. Emotional moments carry considerable impact because the game invests significant time building believable connections before asking players to confront heartbreaking situations. Even supporting characters contribute meaningfully to the overall narrative, helping create a believable world where every individual has a role within the larger conflict. Baldr Sky separates itself from many visual novels through its impressive combat system. Instead of simple menu-based encounters, players pilot customizable combat mechs in fast-paced real-time battles viewed from an isometric perspective. Combat rewards precision, timing, and experimentation as players unlock an extensive arsenal of weapons ranging from melee attacks to powerful ranged equipment. Creating effective weapon combinations, juggling enemies through lengthy combos, and adapting to increasingly difficult opponents gives the gameplay surprising depth. The progression system continually introduces new abilities and equipment, ensuring that battles remain engaging throughout the game's substantial runtime. Customization plays a major role in maintaining variety. Players are encouraged to tailor their mech to match their preferred fighting style, whether focusing on close-quarters aggression, balanced versatility, or long-range offense. Mastering different weapon combinations becomes increasingly satisfying as more options become available, and the sense of progression extends beyond simple numerical upgrades. Boss encounters frequently demand strategic adjustments, making experimentation an important part of overcoming tougher challenges. While newcomers may initially find the combat demanding, the learning curve ultimately feels rewarding rather than frustrating. The presentation complements the game's ambitious scope. Character artwork is expressive and detailed, effectively conveying emotional scenes while maintaining a distinctive anime-inspired style. Backgrounds depict futuristic cities, research facilities, military compounds, and digital environments that reinforce the cyberpunk atmosphere. Although the original production predates many modern visual novels, its visual direction remains appealing thanks to polished artwork and fluid combat animations. Explosive effects, stylish special attacks, and well-designed interface elements make both story segments and action sequences enjoyable to experience. Sound design also deserves recognition. The soundtrack shifts effortlessly between emotional piano melodies, atmospheric electronic compositions, and energetic battle themes that heighten the intensity of combat. Voice performances add personality and authenticity to the cast, strengthening dramatic scenes and making emotional confrontations more believable. Together with the music, the audio presentation plays an important role in maintaining immersion throughout the lengthy adventure. The game's greatest strength lies in how naturally it integrates its storytelling with gameplay. Battles are never disconnected from the narrative, and the unfolding mystery constantly motivates players to continue exploring new routes. At the same time, its enormous scale may not appeal to everyone. Completing every storyline requires a significant time commitment, and some repeated events across different routes can occasionally slow the pacing. Likewise, players expecting a purely story-focused visual novel may find the action segments more demanding than anticipated. However, those willing to embrace both aspects will discover an experience that consistently rewards patience and dedication. Baldr Sky remains one of the most memorable cyberpunk visual novels available because it excels in both narrative ambition and gameplay execution. Its compelling mystery, emotionally rich characters, satisfying combat, meaningful customization, and thought-provoking themes combine into a complete package that rarely feels repetitive despite its considerable length. By successfully balancing cinematic storytelling with engaging action mechanics, it delivers an experience that stands out even among the genre's most respected titles. Rating: 9/10
