like i tried, i really did. tHIS gAME IS A DUMPSTER FIRE. HOWEVER I am supporting because I like the direction they are going , even tho it Seems Maximum Football is years ahead of this I am optomistic for next year both are getting my support. #FookMadden
I've now played a few seasons and finally pushed my team to the playoffs. I decided to spectate their first playoff game, but I quit halfway through. Why? My quarterback was sacked 12 times in the first half, which makes no sense considering my offensive line's score. Also, neither team could complete a single pass, despite 34 attempts. The AI on this game is horrible!

Even worse than the last game...
The controls take a little getting used to, but it's a fun football game. The franchise mode is pretty deep and that's primarily what I got it for. I'm looking forward to see how they improve on the next edition.
Great game. If you want spit polish, go drop your 60 bucks on Madden. If you want a mechanically sound American Football game with a franchise mode - look no further.
I'm a staunch supporter of indie developers and small studios giving big studios and developers a run for their money when it comes to features people actually want. Axis Games is no different with Axis Football 2019. I recommend this game if you badly want a competent franchise mode ala older NBA 2K titles. If you're wanting to recreate the KC Chief's "2-3-Jet-Chip-Wasp" in-game....that ain't going to happen, since the AI isn't quite that advanced nor is the graphics going to lend itself to realism any time soon. TLDR: Stay for more of a managerial game with solid gameplay (if you really want to scratch that itch) OR outright avoid if you're looking for outright eye candy (with a metric f***ton of microtransactions and gimmicky BS)
RIDICULOUSLY buggy. Unplayable as player on the field. Passing (icon mode) will just catapult the ball out of the scene or throw to a completely different player. About 25% of the time I cannot control the QB after the snap. So much worse than the 2017 version that I would believe it is made by different developers.
Love the customization in this game, the gameplay is good enough.
After the update my Quarter back barely completes a pass.. literally went 1/20 in completions in Spectate mode.
