Very cute and fun game with a surprisingly mouthy protagonist good lord lol

I don't like playing 2D platformers but this game is very fun, the combat is simple and feels great. The music is terrific and I hope the OST becomes available on steam soon. I recommend this game to anyone who enjoys supporting/playing indie games as this game was well worth the price. If you don't normally buy indie 2D platformers like me I also recommend this game to you because it might surprise you. Axe Girl is short but don't let that take away too much from the fun you will have from this game.

В игре разнообразные локации и противники, также есть интересные боссы, к которым нужен свой подход. Управление довольно удобное (играл на геймпаде). Топором можно рубить все и всех на своем пути, в том числе окружение, также его можно бросать в противников. Имеется еще и супер-атака, которая постепенно заряжается. Выглядит и звучит игра вполне нормально. Играть приятно. Рекомендую.

Good fun. Can be tricky, but fair.

Muy buen juego de plataformas de acción, con una jugabilidad muy del estilo arcade. Los controles son simples: un botón para saltar, otro para arrojar hachas, otro para golpear de cerca y un cuarto botón para el hachazo especial (barra amarilla que se va rellenando según se van eliminando enemigos y que cuando está completa te permite uno de estos hachazos especiales). Todo se maneja muy fluido y de manera muy eficiente. Son 6 fases, cada una con su jefe de fin de fase, y por último el jefe final. El diseño de los niveles está a un gran nivel, y se aprovecha bastante bien el hecho de que estando en el aire puedes rebotar en los enemigos y en los objetos al utilizar el golpeo corto junto la dirección de abajo. Dominar este movimiento será básico para avanzar en el juego, como también lo será el dominar el disparo del hacha, ya que es posible dispararlos de forma parabólica, o bien en vertical u horizontal, todo dependiendo de qué dirección estemos pulsando con las teclas o mando de movimiento. Los jefes de fin de fase son también muy interesantes, con patrones de ataque bien llevados a cabo, por lo que resultan muy divertidos. Por lo demás, el juego es sencillo en cuanto a su dificultad, al menos en el modo normal. La única pega que le veo es que no deja configurar los botones o teclas, lo cual es una pequeña gran putada. Pero en general un muy buen juego que se disfruta mucho y que merece la pena ser jugado. Sin duda.

un juego muy lindo, tiene bastantes dificultades, se ve bonito, el control del personaje se maneja excelente, la música me encantó. En dificultad "normal" se siente como un paseo, una experiencia divertida para relajarse, excepto en el último nivel. Si buscas una experiencia que te desafíe más puedes subirle mucho más la dificultad. Tiene algunas referencias a otros juegos y cultura popular, desde un comienzo el aspecto cómico está presente en los diálogos de los NPCs, muy graciosos jé. Realmente lo recomiendo, es extremadamente barato!

I played this game on Glass Axe difficulty The game was very fun, I enjoyed my time with it for sure. The writing was simple, but well executed and I really liked some of the dialogues between Axela and the bosses. The gameplay (normal attack is inspired by Hollow Knight) was very well executed, and felt super good. I loved the segments where I chain bounced across spikes and other obstacles. Most of the graphics in this game are pretty charming, aside from a few things I'll mention later. The map designs are alright, they definitely get the job done, and nothing feels unfair, which I like a lot. I also really do enjoy the boss fights. There are a couple things I don't like, but they're kind of minor. First, the dragon boss just looks weird. I think somehow the sprite got squished, so it just doesn't fit in with the rest of the game's graphics. Second, the autoscrolling segment. I really didn't like this, especially on Glass Axe difficulty. The level had you jump on a platform and had to wait around while dodging objects that could hurt you (or one hit you on Glass Axe!). It was the only level that I didn't enjoy at all. But the game as a whole was a very polished and fun experience. Would I recommend it? Yes, I do highly recommend it, especially with how cheap it is. Definitely pick it up if you like platforming games! TL;DR Good game. Play it.
