For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

If you're a fan of the original Dreaming Sarah, or games like Yume Nikki or Strange Telephone, I highly recommend this game! Gameplay is overall pretty straightforward, but while simple this game offers a lot of creativity and variety that I felt naturally built onto the previous game. In particular the variety of mediums and presentation really stood out, and I really enjoyed that they weren't afraid to wear their inspirations on their sleeve. Each area felt unique and the range of tones (especially in the gallery) was memorable. If there's anything to note, the gameplay itself is very much simple with the emphasis being on finding the objects needed to progress to a new location to explore until you find all the objects in game. This isn't a bad quality since exploration of environments is the main point and finding secrets is a lot of fun, but if you go in expecting a more story or puzzle-heavy experience experience it would be a good idea to temper that before starting. Personally I would have liked for a -little- more depth throughout, but overall let it be an experience on its own terms and you'll have a fun time.

Probably one of the best Yume Nikki-like exploration games I've played so far. It absolutely nails the atmosphere while also going a step beyond by blending in different genres (definitely didn't expect the game casually throwing you into 3D levels!) Also the progression itself is genuinely fun, with a metroidvania-style structure mixed with puzzle-solving, and that's easily one of my favorite aspects of the game. I especially like its approach to puzzles and transformations. There are 24 transformations in total, and most of them have practical uses in a wide variety of situations rather than being limited to a single purpose, to the point that many puzzles can be solved in different ways depending on how creative you are with the abilities you've unlocked, which makes experimentation feel genuinely rewarding. I didn't expect that level of flexibility at all. Overall a really solid game and highly recommended if you're into dream exploration focused games.
Awakening Sarah builds upon the foundations of its predecessor by delivering a surreal and emotionally charged adventure that blends exploration, puzzle-solving, and introspective storytelling into a memorable package. Developed by Asteristic Game Studio and Anthony Septim and published by Asteristic Game Studio, the game once again places players in the role of Sarah, a young girl trapped between consciousness and dreams as she struggles to awaken from a coma. Rather than presenting its story through lengthy dialogue or exposition, the game invites players to uncover its mysteries organically, allowing every discovery to feel meaningful. This approach gives Awakening Sarah a unique identity, appealing to players who enjoy atmospheric experiences that leave room for interpretation. The game's greatest strength lies in its open-ended structure. Players are free to roam through interconnected environments filled with secrets, unusual characters, and hidden pathways that reward curiosity. Each area possesses its own distinct personality, ranging from peaceful landscapes to unsettling dreamscapes that reflect Sarah's fractured state of mind. Exploration is consistently engaging thanks to the game's emphasis on observation and experimentation. The world never feels overly restrictive, and the satisfaction of uncovering a new route or solving an environmental puzzle reinforces the sense of adventure throughout the experience. Gameplay revolves around collecting an assortment of items that grant Sarah new abilities and ways to interact with her surroundings. With 24 unique tools available, progression is tied closely to exploration rather than combat. Items such as umbrellas, scissors, and other unconventional equipment serve multiple purposes, opening previously inaccessible areas and encouraging players to revisit earlier locations. The puzzles are thoughtfully designed, striking a balance between accessibility and challenge. While some objectives may occasionally require a bit of trial and error, the game generally respects the player's intelligence and avoids excessive hand-holding. Narratively, Awakening Sarah thrives on ambiguity. The game's dreamlike presentation and symbolic imagery create an experience that feels deeply personal, with themes centered on memory, loss, identity, and acceptance. Players looking for a straightforward plot may find its storytelling style elusive, but those willing to immerse themselves in its world will discover a surprisingly emotional journey beneath the surface. There is an undeniable charm in how the game trusts players to draw their own conclusions, making Sarah's path toward recovery feel intimate and reflective rather than conventionally dramatic. Visually, Awakening Sarah delivers beautiful pixel art that effortlessly shifts between comforting and eerie. Its environments are rich in detail despite their minimalist presentation, and every location contributes to the game's atmosphere. Complementing the visuals is an excellent soundtrack composed by Anthony Septim with contributions from One Sided Horse, featuring tracks that range from soothing melodies to haunting compositions. Together, the audio and visual design create an immersive experience that captures the feeling of wandering through a living dream. The inclusion of Twitch integration is also a pleasant surprise, allowing viewers to appear within the game world during streams and adding an extra layer of community interaction. That said, Awakening Sarah is not without shortcomings. Its non-linear nature can occasionally lead to moments of uncertainty, particularly when players are unsure where to go next or which item is required for progression. Some may find the slower pacing and lack of traditional action elements difficult to appreciate, especially if they prefer more mechanically demanding platformers. However, these issues feel more like consequences of the game's artistic direction than genuine design failures. The developers have clearly prioritized atmosphere and emotional resonance over accessibility, and the final product benefits from that commitment. Awakening Sarah is a captivating indie title that succeeds through its imagination, presentation, and willingness to embrace unconventional storytelling. It is a game that rewards patience and curiosity, offering an experience that lingers long after the credits roll. While it may not appeal to every audience, those who appreciate surreal adventures and thoughtful world-building will find plenty to admire. By expanding on the ideas introduced in Dreaming Sarah while carving out its own identity, Awakening Sarah stands as a worthy continuation of Sarah's journey and a testament to the creativity of independent game development. Rating: 8/10
I thought Dreaming Sarah was a great game, but this sequel was honestly mind blowing. I LOVED how everything was so interconnected and the waking up to restart aspect. The colors, music, sound effects were great. I was very immersed in this world. Loved that it was non-linear but sometimes you just knew "I have to come back here after I get more abilities". Can't believe the team that made this was so small? Like WOW!!! The jokes were quite funny (although nothing will ever beat that Smashing Pumpkins reference in the first game, haha). I was so scared in the museum :(((. (Was also expecting some sort of consequences for my violent decisions? But as far as I know, those never happened?) I RECOMMEND! You don't need to have already played Dreaming Sarah to enjoy Awakening Sarah. ***For fans of Yume Nikki.
