Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 5/day in the week to Aug 4 → 13/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Welcome to the Living Lands, a mysterious island filled with adventure and danger.
Set in the fictional world of Eora that was first introduced to players in the Pillars of Eternity franchise, Avowed is a first-person fantasy action RPG from the award-winning team at Obsidian Entertainment.
The Living Lands is an island where the air hums with ancient magic, the flora seems to move with a mind of its own, and the ground beneath your feet shifts with secrets waiting to be unearthed.
Now, the Living Lands faces a dire threat—a mysterious plague that defies nature and reason, spreading chaos across its sprawling wilderness.
As an envoy of Aedyr, you are sent to investigate, but what begins as a mission of duty soon becomes deeply personal—you feel as though the land recognizes you and is pulling you toward something greater. The choices you make will ripple across the Living Lands, shaping the fates of its people, its creatures, and even yourself. But beware, for every decision carries weight, and the forces you encounter will not hesitate to test your resolve.
Can you navigate the tangled web of intrigue, power, and danger to uncover the truth? Can you save this unknown frontier and your soul from the forces threatening to tear them asunder?
Even more to do in the game! This update brings New Game Plus, a Photo Mode, a brand new weapon type with two-handed staves, the ability to change character appearance whenever you’d like, new character creation presets, additional Godlike presets, custom game difficulty settings, and the addition of three new playable races: Dwarf, Aumaua, and Orlan.
The Living Lands is a place that feels foreign yet somewhat intrinsic to you as it feels the island itself is calling out to you for help. Explore an island home to many different environments and landscapes, each with their own unique ecosystem.
Mix and match swords, spells, guns, and shields to fight your way. Dig into your grimoire for spells to trap, freeze or burn enemies, bash them with your shield, or use range bows to attack from a distance.
Companions from a spread of species will fight alongside you, with their own unique set of abilities. From a former mercenary to an eccentric wizard, they will be part of your journey with your choices shaping them as you help them with their quests.

The game is a solid 8/10. One point off for having no romance in a party-based rpg. One point off for being poorly optimized to the point of crashing after playing for around 2-3 hours at a time. Aside from those two main gripes, everything else about the game is amazing and if it wasn't for those two factors, I would definitely play through multiple playthroughs.
This is a fairly decent game but you should know what you are getting. If you are into the worlds of obsidian then it is a must buy. For others, this is a fairly decent RPG. In some of the last patches they went and made alternate builds viable, like ranger or gunslinger. Which, I don't know if they nerfed enemies but they seem to have a limited attack range which means you can dodge projectiles and shoot until the enemies are dead. The world is pretty vast, broken up into zones, each of which the rarity of weapons/treasure increases. Aside from named treasure in special locations the rest seems to be pretty generic. So I'd advise doing story and side quest missions rather than mainly exploring, as that, although rewarding, can get tedious. I have to say the landscapes are very beautiful, especially at night, with glowing fungus and toadstools everywhere. The game has a stealth mode, but it isn't a good one. Companions will always engage enemies and apparently you cannot get rid of them except perhaps by story choice. So stealth is for the first shot.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 2: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Forget all your expectations about this game and this game will be ridiculously fun.
It's just like dark souls but in first person
I love this game! Combat is super fun, companion chats feel just as sharp and interesting as the dragon age games. The romance mechanic isn't as deep but I wasn't expecting it to be from this series, and there are still enough conversations to make the team feel like a real team. The world is beautiful and I have so much fun exploring it. All the different areas are super unique and it's awesome seeing the POT monsters up close and personal.
Pretty interesting so far. Game play is good. I'd watch out for Game Services and the Xbox App, though. if those aren't right, you'll have issues.
Fun game. The combat and the looting got a bit old, so towards the end I kind of sped past things, but overall it was not a bad game. I got this game when it first came out and it was a buggy mess, a year later I play it and all the bugs seemed to be fixed! Didn't have any issues. I will say though that the NPCs in the towns seemed a bit lifeless which bothered me a bit. The fighting gets old because it's the same old thing each time. You start with mobs and then new mobs spawn in and then there's a priest that heals, rangers, maybe a mage, some spiders or so, and then the tank. It definately got old but the story was decent. I enjoyed having a say in what I wanted to do. I liked how when you go back to the older cities, there are chances of new dialogue with certain NPCs. Lots of secret areas, it pays to be adventerous and look around a lot.
game looks great. if HDR is not fixed still. use renodx reshade to improve hdr a lot. renodx ue extended works best. game is good runs nicely without stutter and fps is not bad.
The loud minority made me wait for this gem for 1 year. You all can kiss me where the spine ends.
I played almost all of this game offline. The fact that this game is Steam Deck Verified is an absurd joke, even at the lowest graphics settings it struggles to maintain 25fps and has this ugly ghosting/smearing effect when you turn which can't be disabled in game so you have to edit a config file. I played with settings just slightly above the minimum so I could even see the wall paintings that the characters would refer to and endured a consistent 18fps. I think the story of the birth/releasing of a new god is an interesting shakeup to the already divine heavy setting but you don't really get to interact with any of that because Avowed's portion of the world is very self-contained. The game sometimes tries do do that New Vegas thing where it makes you choose between a rock and a hard place and it ends up feeling contrived and hard to believe that I wouldn't just tell both sided to kick rocks because I could handle the situation myself. I hate the lighting in this game as it favors being pretty over being helpful, in the overworld the sun will glare in your eyes but in dungeons or in the shade it will be so dark that you cant even see a lever right in front of your face; this problem would be mitigated by being able to carry a torch but you cant so instead you will probably resort to blasting magic for the small amount of light that provides. Even if you already like the setting from playing Pillars of Eternity, Avowed still feels pretty generic and is mostly skippable. I enjoyed my time with this game but I don't think I got even $40 worth, let alone $60. 6/10 it was all right but not astounding and had a host of technical issues to boot
