This game is a little gem. A fantastic blend of small-scale optimisation, puzzle-solving and automation. Love it!
This is an excellent logic puzzle game. Experimenting and implementing to then refine your methods to get that extra bit efficiency out of it. Different solutions to try and learn from. Very addictive game. A lot of replay value. I recommend this game if you enjoy thinking and problem solving.
great puzzle game!
Automate It: Factory Puzzle by South Blue Moon and published by Forklift Interactive presents a compelling blend of puzzle-solving and factory-building mechanics that both challenge and reward players’ creativity. At its core, the game revolves around designing efficient automated production lines using conveyor belts, machinery, and various logistical tools. This focus on industrial automation tasks players with carefully planning and optimizing their layouts to meet specific objectives, all while working within constraints such as space, power usage, and time limits. The satisfaction derived from seeing a complex system smoothly operate is a central appeal, making it a must-try for anyone who enjoys strategic thinking and engineering puzzles. The game offers multiple modes catering to different player styles and skill levels. The Campaign Mode introduces a series of structured challenges that gradually increase in complexity across five distinct worlds. These levels push players to master the core mechanics while also introducing new elements like vertical logistics and multi-step crafting recipes, encouraging deeper engagement with the game’s systems. For players craving a more open-ended experience, the Omniverse Mode removes many of the usual restrictions, allowing for expansive experimentation, though it adds survival elements to maintain challenge. Additionally, Sandbox and Creative modes provide spaces where players can freely design or face procedurally generated objectives, further enhancing replayability and community involvement. Visually, Automate It strikes a balance between functional clarity and aesthetic appeal. The game’s clean user interface ensures players can easily manage complex machinery and conveyor setups without becoming overwhelmed, while the vibrant and detailed environments add personality and charm to the industrial landscapes. Utilizing Unreal Engine technology, the game delivers smooth animations and crisp graphics that help bring its mechanical worlds to life. Steam Workshop integration is another strong point, enabling players to share their own puzzles and creations, fostering a vibrant community and extending the game’s longevity through user-generated content. While the game has been praised for its depth and creative freedom, some players have expressed interest in seeing additional machine types and more customization options to expand building possibilities. These enhancements could provide even greater variety and complexity, enriching the gameplay experience. Nevertheless, these critiques are relatively minor compared to the overall positive reception, with most players appreciating the solid foundation and thoughtful design that Automate It offers. In summary, Automate It: Factory Puzzle is a well-crafted, engaging simulation that invites players to become master engineers of their own automated factories. Its combination of challenging puzzles, creative freedom, and strong community features make it a standout title for fans of factory simulation and puzzle genres alike. Whether you prefer carefully solving defined problems or diving into limitless creative experimentation, Automate It provides a rewarding and immersive experience that can captivate players for hours. Rating: 7/10
HMMMM yes. Me like funny belt game about not only building but building efficient layout. Going for 5 stars has been reasonablely difficult on the first 10 levels. There is also different leader board for each level with power, time, space taken into account so you can play to your favorite style.
lack of creative freedom, game enforces min maxing and doesnt allow for flexibilty of ways to solve problems
YAWN. First section poses it as a fun, casual puzzle game. Then the alt recipes come in and you realize this game consists only of all the least fun aspects of Satisfactory. If you're the sort of person who played Satisfactory with a spreadsheet up on your second monitor, you will enjoy this game - though I could point you to a number of data entry and logistics jobs which would scratch the same itch. For everyone else, the enjoyment is short-lived past the first section. Also, for me this runs worse than actual Satisfactory despite looking like a mobile game.
