About
You're driving away on a forest road, late at night, under a heavy storm. Your car breaks down. Luckily, there might be a gas station nearby.
But a misfortune never comes alone. The storm has brought something else, something otherworldly that oddly smells of spilled diesel oil. When it rains, it pours.
AUTO-CRISIS is a short horror game (~60mn) about cars, rain, being lost, and bad days.
WHAT TO EXPECT ?
A short psychological horror game (around 60 minutes)
An unreliable player character with a mystery to solve
An atmospheric game, at night, under the rain (best played with a headset!)
A surreal trip about trauma, carcentrism and survivor's guilt
WHAT NOT TO EXPECT ?
No cheap jumpscares and loud saturated noises
No key to doors and random puzzles to solve
No narrative that holds your hand
This is not a driving game
Realistic environments in a surreal setting.
You are soaked wet, and can barely see. The thunder strikes in the distance, revealing otherworldly creatures in the storm's vanishing light...
The rain has brought something else. You are not alone.
There are creatures that can be only seen when the storm strikes. Remember where they are to avoid them.
A writhing, radiant orb of light is passing through. Look away from its draining warmth.
The forest is full of crawling nightmares. You can hear them, but can you see them in time ?
A giant absurd manifestation is towering over the trees, Start running now and you might make it.
Experience a short psychological experience packed with high fidelity graphics and optimized worlds made available by Unreal Engine 5. Go through a rural ruined parking, a subterrean surreal backroom, a boggy pine forest, a dump, a tribal village, and a continuous, endless skybridge at night, away from everything.

Took me around an hour to play through the whole thing, the gameplay loop is a little repetitive (mostly at the beginning) but overall I'd say it was pretty good! The environments were really well made and the graphics and audio were nice. It had some good tension and a few scares (no real jump scares in my opinion, besides me completely missing a monster being right in front of me). Overall I think it was worth the $4 price tag if you want a fun self-contained little horror game.
Awesome short exprience game. Super unique experience and story, artfully executed.
I will recommend this on the caveat that it isn't really a horror game and the times that it tries to do some kind of story element, it just falls kinda flat. But the visuals are worth playing the game, i think. The lighting effects are something.
Insane car themed horror game. Genuinely interesting mechanics. And a twist ending. Pretty fire game, and I say that not being a Car Guy or an AutoSextual. 10/10 Rain.
Very nicely done little horror game. It's unsettling, and the slight twist at the end wraps it all together nicely and makes more sense of the very surreal levels leading up to it. Well worth the asking price and an easy 100% achievement game as well.
(I played it offline so the time herp derp) Played the game and loved it. Loved the atmosphere, finished the game in one sitting and had exactly what I wanted. F #hyped by the next game of the stuido!
This is a very weird, disturbing, immersive, atmospheric horror game about breaking down in your car and trying to face your current situation and past trauma surrounding cars and driving. It only takes about an hour to play and the controls are pretty intuitive. I bought it when it was on sale and it was definitely worth it for the strange, creepy ride.
Amazing game. It felt like a weird dream. Very well done.
Le début peut faire croire à un jeu rébarbatif, mais ça vaut le coup d'aller jusqu'au bout. J'ai adoré L'ambiance!
What can i say, its a short game that opens up to a story, because of the price i cant complain, also its a journey more than a horror survival, its left me happy not to play it again and if you want a game that has a good story to it then i would recommend IN SOUNDS MIND, STILL WAKES THE DEEP, JANITOR BLEEDS,
