Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Aug 25 → 0.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

ATOM RPG – 46 Hours In: My Thoughts After spending around 46 hours in ATOM RPG, I finally reached Dead City, which instantly gave me vibes from Fallout 3’s The Pitt, Fallout 4’s Glowing Sea, and even the tone of Wasteland 2 & 3. Since I’ve been comparing it to the classics all along, I thought it was the right moment to pause and put together a proper review. 🎨 Atmosphere & Worldbuilding The strongest part of ATOM RPG is its atmosphere. It absolutely nails that post-apocalyptic wasteland vibe. If you’ve played Wasteland 2, you’ll feel right at home — from the bleak environments to the tension of wandering into areas you’re clearly not ready for. The world feels harsh, but in a way that rewards curiosity. Every ruined building, every suspicious bunker, every NPC camp has a story waiting for you. ⚔️ Combat & Mechanics This is where things get tricky. ATOM RPG is not a beginner-friendly game. The Easy/Normal difficulty labels are pretty misleading — don’t expect a “casual stroll” mode here. Like the original Fallout games, it demands grinding for levels, money, and better equipment before you can realistically stand toe-to-toe with most threats. Combat itself is turn-based but lacks a cover system, something Wasteland 2/3 improved on. That said, once you get used to the rhythm, there’s a certain old-school charm. Every fight feels tense because you’re constantly weighing your options: fight, sneak, or run. 📖 Story & Quests Here the game really shines. Choices matter. It reminded me a lot of Wasteland 3 in how decisions ripple across different factions and quests. Sometimes it’s subtle, sometimes it’s brutally obvious, but you can’t play this on autopilot. You will question yourself after making calls that change the course of entire storylines. 🎭 Characters & Dialogue This is where the “indie” roots show. Don’t expect deep, fully voiced companions like in Wasteland 3 or Fallout: New Vegas. Most NPCs won’t stick in your memory for long, and the lack of voice acting makes it feel a little flat at times. That said, the writing itself is solid, and your companions are an exception — they’re decently fleshed out and bring flavor to your journey. It actually reminded me of Wasteland 2 before it got the Director’s Cut upgrade. ⏳ Performance & Pacing Performance is smooth — I had no problem holding 60 FPS. It’s not a demanding game. The pacing, however, is another matter. The grind I mentioned earlier can drag things down, especially if you’re used to modern conveniences like faster XP curves or streamlined loot systems. But if you treat it like an old CRPG, it feels more authentic than punishing. 🧭 Overall Vibe ATOM RPG is very much a love letter to old-school Fallout and Wasteland. It doesn’t hold your hand, it makes you work for every step of progress, and it nails the oppressive, survivalist atmosphere. If you’re someone who enjoyed XCOM’s tactical combat, the desolation of Fallout 1 & 2, or the branching decisions of Wasteland 2 & 3, this game is for you. Just be prepared for a grind and a lack of polish in some areas — the heart and vision are there, and that’s what counts. ✅ Pros Great atmosphere, nails the old-school wasteland feel Choices matter in meaningful ways Strong writing for an indie CRPG Smooth performance, low system requirements ❌ Cons Steep difficulty curve and grindy progression No cover system in combat NPCs lack memorability, no voice acting Final Verdict After 46 hours, I can say ATOM RPG is not perfect, but it’s exactly what I wanted: a modern attempt at capturing the magic of old Fallout and Wasteland. If that’s the kind of experience you’re chasing, it’s absolutely worth your time.

This is the Fallout 2.5 experience you are looking for. I enjoyed Wasteland 2, didn't enjoy Underrail enough to finish it. Of the three this one feels the most like Fallout. Played it on Easy and really enjoyed the game. The Soviet setting gives it a fresh flavor that yet another US-based Fallout would lack. The best of something new combined with something tried and true. No need for "builds theorycrafting" or any of that work. Just get a few tips from around various forums or web pages on builds and go. Only one recommendation: use the mod to make all backpacks carry 9,000kg. Unless you like inventory management, this one mod makes the game far less fiddly to play.
