About
“Shadows is some of the most fun I’ve had with a stealth game in a decade” —PC Gamer
Play as Naoe, a quick-witted shinobi, and use light, sound, and shadows to evade detection. Infiltrate enemy strongholds with many parkour options including the new grappling hook, distract guards with shuriken or smoke bombs, and assassinate your targets with your Hidden Blade. As the samurai Yasuke, use silent bow takedowns or unleash devastating melee combos with your katana or naginata.
Switch between these two heroes to adapt your strategy and experience feudal Japan through two radically different approaches – stealth and strength, shadows and steel.

4 hours in Trying to get into it The first couple of hours are really slow. Waiting for it to pick up an get into it. 18 hours in and STILL waiting for it to pick up...... Its not bad, but its really slow how it unfolds the story, I'm finding the combat a bit more difficult too, but I recon it's due to the game pace there literally a hour of no combat then it drops you into a fight, then another break in pace, then it drops you into a back story with a fight BUT with none of the abilities you just got used too. It can feel a bit frustrating, it seems a bit all over the place. I also played AC black flag Resynced first which may have been a mistake. rereview once I get there.
Enjoying playing as Naoe, her movement reminds me of Arno.
If you want a mixture of stealthy assassin themed rewarding play, and powerful in the face hack and slash, then this game is a great choice. Especially if you also enjoy Japanese-themed scenery and lore! Getting the hang of how weapons are intended to use can be a bit tricky with some, but once you've done enough research and experimenting, the results can feel quite rewarding, for various weapon choices. Main annoyances: - Clearing Castles can be overly annoying: Sometimes the Daisho you have to eliminate to clear castles are hard to find, in fact sometimes they say they are even so buggy that you have to reload your game for them to show up. On top of this, the castles can also be a bit of a maze sometimes, but with enough patience and perhaps sometimes some google searches, you should eventually accomplish your tasks. - The "Wanted" status. The punishments for less use of stealth mechanics are sometimes pretty annoying, since they prevent fast travel and character swaps until you get to a safer area; but overall I'd say this adds a nice layer of added difficulty to keep track of. There is some ways to help reduce this punishment, by taking down alarm bells, but they aren't always that easy to find, before the damage is done. Thankfully when it feels like too much of a bother, there are options to pretty easily clear the Wanted state as well.
The storylines are very engaging. Although not able to conquer areas is a little disappointing
Viele Errungenschaften mal wieder zu sammeln und die Grafik ist top. Es macht auch Spaß das man einmal Ninja und Samurai spielen kann.
