Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

I’ve been a massive Assassin’s Creed fan since AC1, and after almost 100 hours in Valhalla, I can honestly say I like this game a lot. I can also say that the sheer amount of content managed to wear out the completionist in me. That takes some doing. But let’s get this out of the way: this isn’t an assassin game. This is a Viking game. It carries the Assassin’s Creed name and has connections to the larger story, but the experience itself is very much about the Viking fantasy. As someone who has loved this series since the beginning, that distinction matters. It doesn’t make Valhalla a bad game, but it does make it a different experience from what made me fall in love with AC in the first place. The beginning had me genuinely hyped, and the ending absolutely delivered that same excitement, especially if you’re into the Isu lore. That side of Assassin’s Creed is something I love, and the ending left me really wanting to see where they would take it next. Unfortunately, it’s fall 2026 as I’m writing this, and I’m still waiting for a proper follow-up. Hopefully they will actually continue what they set up here, because I definitely haven’t forgotten about it. The game itself plays smoothly and feels amazing. Combat is simple and doesn’t have much depth, but it makes you feel like a god. You’re not necessarily enjoying it because of some incredibly complex system you’re slowly mastering. You’re enjoying it because being this powerful feels good. And honestly, that worked for me. England is also genuinely fun to explore. I enjoyed being in this world and working my way through it, which is probably why I kept going despite the absolutely insane amount of things on the map. There is always something else to do, another marker to clear, another thing standing between you and a completed territory. And yes, I did it all. Every territory in the base game cleared. I saw that ridiculous map and apparently decided that absolutely none of it was optional. But even I needed a pause after finishing the base game. There’s still more content to tackle, and instead of immediately jumping into it, I needed to step away for a while. Not because I disliked the game, but because I had already spent so much time completing everything. Enjoying a game and having had enough of it for the moment can apparently happen at the same time. That’s where I land with Valhalla. Definitely recommended, with the understanding that you’re getting a massive Viking adventure rather than a traditional assassin experience. I had a lot of fun, loved the power fantasy, and the Isu story left me wanting more. I just needed a break before “more” meant another map full of things to complete.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 1: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 22.14/day in the week to Aug 12 → 25.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

i think the world was gorgeous. but i do have a thing for snowy environments and autumnal orangey vibes. the ships and raids reminded me a little bit about ac black flag, which was also nice. however. i only got to oxeneforscire until i couldn't continue any further. i really wanted to, but i ended up playing other games as palate cleanser..... the game was just so boring and kept repeating itself. in summary, the whole game so far was about - someone saying "follow me" and then you following them slooowlyyy for the next +500 m, mostly by foot - travelling to a location in the middle of nowhere, with zero fast travel options nearby (which resulted in me scrolling my phone, while waiting for eivor to either reach the destination or get stuck by ship) - eivor (= me) killing all the enemies in camps with zero help, since all the allies preferred to watch from the sidelines i think the stamina restriction was fine during boss etc. one-on-one fights, but otherwise it was annoying and unnecessary. i initially liked the idea of building the settlement, but raids started to feel too repetitive after a while, so the initial excitement waned. i personally liked legendary animals, but sadly upgraded myself to only level ~74 (since i wasn't interested in collecting any stuff), so it didn't feel very rewarding to fight against someone who could kill you within two hits, while your 100 hits barely did any damage. but the ones i did, gave nice challenge and were interesting. the game had potential and the ideas were there, but the execution fell short. this game was quantity over quality.
кайф
Picked this up during the Winter Sale 2025 for $4.39, and it's easily one of the best deals I've ever gotten. The world is stunning, exploration is rewarding, combat feels satisfying, and Eivor is a great protagonist. If you enjoy open-world RPGs with Viking themes, this game offers dozens of hours of quality content. Definitely worth it, especially on sale.
