It is the most best game in my life I think I played till now still some problems in the game. I want to tell everyone that a lot of players afraid to buy this game for its buggy launch and some complain for its short fast story progress. First I want to clear whatever I am telling is fully based on my personal experience and choice so it can be different from you hence if you know agree you can comment on my perspectives.
I want to clear that the story is excellent specific I really can't forget about the Sequence 9 Mission 3 The Escape, this game is a very tragic romance story of Arno Dorian and Elise De La Serre, the story is pretty uncommon in assassin's history , the world details is very deep, It actually give feelings of real French Revolution and secret Templar conspiracy for a powerful Sword of Eden , for my decision I think this is best Assassin's Creed game, it give me smooth parkour which modern day games also missing and assassin consumables like huge amount of smoke bombs , phantom blade which is very unique and so on.
i think Ubisoft rush the game launch in 2014 that is the main problem, they forgot some additional emotion scene to express a deep love for Elise and other childhood scenes to make the game more emotional and the buggy release that the main culprit, by the way if they remake with adding more extra scene in this game that is incredibly excellent. Detail Paris parkour and stealthy assassination is excellent than sailing( like in Assassin's Creed Black Flag or Rogue, anyone may love sailing but that is not pure assassin love ) and Boss fights(like in Assassin's Creed Valhalla or Odyssey, I really suggest if any one like boss fights head to Elden Ring or other games to test your controller smatsching skill), this game has something special that is missing in other AC games and other games in the world, all characters in the game is very vibrant and behavior and understanding and tragic life of Arno is something different, from a carefree child to a master assassin still without getting nothing loosing father, step father, love, mentor , brotherhood reject is deep emotional still fighting to save world is incredible scarifice.
Elise and Arno looks very vibrant throughout the game and their flattery, scenes , escaping , helping each other, break ups ,intimate scenes , Elise chasing , kisses are incredible , though I know Elise only appear a few times only in the game. Other characters are very realistic and fit as per their specific roles.
I listen some players afraid of Arno as a assassin as he always lean to Elise not for brotherhood, but here I must clear that he actually but after Elise death and event of Dead kings, he again join assassins formerly to work along with Napoleon Bonaparte as relevant in the last scene of main game , hence those parts are his early life if I want to compare with other games, Ezio also rage in taking revenge of his father death at first and then calm over time and become master assassin and Edward Kneway a griddy pirate who help templar then a assassin, I want to remember all only for last sequence Edward play as a assassin in rest of game he only a pirate so if any player love those a lot then what Arno done what wrong to show love for Elise, I know his actions are more fast forward to kill Pierre Bellec still he only love Elise even I think Elise also not love him in that way she only have rage to take her father revenge but Arno has nothing only true love for Elise and only join brotherhood and investigate Elise's father death for get her back still fate not listen his last wish , how tragic just imagine not like Edward who left Caroline a lot of days only to earn money and have no emotions for her death and not like Ezio who one day sleep with Cristina then forget her, I know that time was difficult still he left her and after lot of years come and kiss her on street when she already marries I know Ezio himself told Cristina to marry and not to wait for him but as a true assassin he has not any respect to not touch others wife, his love is not that depth, believe me I am a big fan of Assassin Creed Ezio Trilogy but he is not about a true lover , I know Arno is not loyal to the brotherhood that is why he is that kind of character, he is only loyal to Elise to get her love. If any player accuse him as a lover rather than assassin and tell this game is waste of time this is not real assassin game then never tell Assassin's Creed Black Flag your favorite because that is a pirate story rather than assassin story.
i know Ubisoft make a huge world of detail Paris, I think the most best map and settings in whole Assassin's Creed Franchise , I think they add less main mission in it as they flooded the map with Paris stories that is truly boring and their rushing of launch make problem. I also think they should add Shay Cormac scenes for his father murder as you know Shay's story is still open ended in gaming history and his mother scenes as on Database of Arno that is relevant his mother is alive, Ubisoft must give a proper ending for Shay's and Arno's life.
Hence from every thinking I put this game as best assassin's Creed game ever release irrespective of other problems of Ubisoft , this one is a masterpiece only need some more improvements , so I highly suggest its remake on new anvil Engine that really give actual feel of Paris and I also like if Ubisoft also release Assassin's Creed 2 and brotherhood and Revelations remake.
