Set in a dark fantasy world reminiscent of the titles that inspired the souls-like genre, the game immerses you in a setting where decaying gods loom over a ruined landscape, and the remnants of divine conflict shape every encounter.

looks pretty simple at first, but the combat has way more depth than I expected. The animated cards are really nice to look at too
I have been playing the game very religiously since early beta and still think that this is one of the more interesting deckbuilders to be released. It is not so RNG focused, like other ones, where your trinket drops dictate the run. Here there is only you and your skill. Thoroughly enjoy the game and highly recommend.
The game can be completed in about three to five hours. On top of that, it's very easy and offers little to no challenge. The AI is simply bad. What is especially frustrating is that you can't keep your progress after making the final choices that determine the ending. You don't receive the rewards or experience (XP) you've earned. For such a short and easy experience, I think the price is simply too high.
I liked the core element of drawing from two decks, ensuring a mix of support/buff and damage-dealing cards in my hand. The itemization mechanics also worked reasonably well, as it was fun to upgrade gear and complete item sets. A playthrough took about 5 hours to complete, with my only defeat being the forced fatality in the tutorial. The game is quite easy once you grasp the essentials (oddly, the most important mechanic (Weave) is not well signposted to the player, although it can be understood from the tool tips). There was one boss I killed so quickly that I never figured out what he was trying to do (building some sort of resource, but to what purpose I never saw as he died before he ever spent it). My other comment is that the card pool is extremely shallow (50 or fewer cards) and very few of the new cards are worth anything (other than Cleansing Fire). While every deckbuilder has its dud cards, almost every card on offer is inferior to what you start with, meaning that there is little joy in discovery when you are offered new cards. But this mattered less to me because of the short playing time and the deeper itemization pool. I'm giving the game a positive review because it wasn't a bad price at launch and I enjoyed the gameplay and the aesthetics but it may not be for everyone.
Very good game, I am enjoying it a lot. The gameplay is immersive and the mechanics seem to be working out so far.
A seemingly simple game, which quickly demonstrates its depth in terms of battle mechanics. Quite captivating, with a strong feeling of "Yeah, let's do one more run!"
Wow! Ta gra jest świetna!
AAAA++++
The fallen tear, tells the story... What happened when tarnished ignore the whole plot and starts playing gwent? Basically this. Fun deckbuilding with rouglelite mechanics, with known soulslike depression. Oh, and it works on laptop made of wood and mud, so everyone can play this
