This game opens in a way that suggests it's going to be complex and open and systemic, but then doesn't seem to ever let go of your hand. The polish and immersion probably made it a good play at the time but I don't think there's much to go back for. Makes me more appreciate some contemporary titles that weren't afraid of letting the player cause things to get a bit chaotic and messy. Also, I hope it's at least several months before I have to listen to any more cackling, squealing 'toopid goblins or grunting roaring dum-dum ogres. Normally these are enemies in games you kill quickly which causes them to shut up, but in Arx you have to stand around in their settlements for ages with them saying "What you want smelly hooman?" over and over again every time you walk by.

(Download Arx Libertatis) This game has a steep learning curve, mostly because modern games give you 20 separate inventory screens. I wish games were as interactive with diegetic menus as this one, for better or for worse.

정말 재밌게 즐겼습니다. 씨발 후반에 일시드 씹련들이 3중 스피드 버프 쳐걸고 달려오는데 전 병신마냥 근접 전사를 고수해서 80%를 재밌게 하다가 마지막 20%를 씨발씨발거리면서 온갖 개지랄을 해대면서 엔딩을 보긴 했는데 뭐 어쩌겠어요 고전겜 태반이 개발자가 밀어주는 방향대로 겜 안하면 넌 병신이다 하면서 부랄차기를 날리는데 그걸 좋다고 맞고 있는 새끼가 이상한거죠.
