Will be updated by time. Still playing right now. It's a fun combination between Tactics Ogre and Darkest Dungeon. It's a combination from both game tactical aspect but make it 3D. Exploring was done just as an ARPG but the whole game feels like I'm back to when I was a child playing a tactical RPG game on my PC (Atlantica). The game is trying to be beginner friendly by giving direction, but it comes out at the same time for every part of the game. Player can't focus on everything and will be confused instead. I feel like there is a need for the player to get gameplay direction via actual gameplay direction rather than tutorial direction. It's not a perfect game by any means, but if you love grid based tactical RPG with dark theme, this one is for you.
It's playable , but need more improvement Gameplay : https://youtu.be/7D8QL-OPODw + It's really tactical forces to think while playing + Each classes has various skills - Bad method for storytelling
Very interesting game with unique mechanics that can take a while to grasp but feel satisfying to explore
it's a deep party RPG in dark fantasy setting with turn-based combat mechanic. You should form party and clear dungeons (loot & escape are main priority but you can try to beat all enemies), between those runs heroes can have a break in base camp. You can't focus on certain party-units since there's 'corruption' mechanic which will force you to purge warriors sometimes, after injure you need to make medical procedures which meaning those units also will be unavailable for a run until you clear X dungeons. Glad you did a wide graphic settings with nice lock at 30 FPS option but there's lack of gameplay settings like difficulty / damage & resist regulation.
Arhaekon, a tactical turn-based dungeon crawler developed by Predict Edumedia, plunges players into a dark fantasy world where they must navigate a landscape torn by divine conflicts. As players step into the role of an Arhaekon, they face the challenge of preventing a genocide while rebuilding civilization amidst chaos. Pros: - Tactical Gameplay: Arhaekon offers deeply strategic, turn-based combat. - Immersive World Building: The game's setting is a dark and feels fully fleshed out, unlike similar games where it feels like an afterthought.. - Non Linear progression: The game provides multiple paths to take so it doesn't feel like you're following a monorail of how to grow and proceed through the game. Cons: - Steep Learning Curve: The game gives a mediocre intro to the mechanics that depend more on your ability of similar game to know how to play. - Management Systems: The management for your units and resources feels like it could be optimized better. - Technical Polish - The game is still EA and it is felt in game play as some non-game breaking glitches to persist. Conclusion: Arhaekon promises a rich and engaging experience for fans of tactical RPGs and dungeon crawlers, blending deep strategic gameplay with a compelling dark fantasy narrative. On a scale of dungeon depths, Arhaekon digs itself just out of trouble, being neither stand out nor aweful at 3 out of 5 mystical runes.
I’ve been playing this dark, turn-based dungeon crawler lately, and honestly, it’s been a solid experience. It’s tough, for sure you feel every decision, especially when your units can die for good. But that’s part of the fun. You lead this eerie squad of minions through randomly generated dungeons, fighting off creepy monsters and trying to grab loot before things go sideways. What I really liked is the atmosphere it’s grim, mysterious, and keeps you curious. There’s this mix of strategy and exploration that hits just right. The combat isn’t overly flashy, but it makes you think, and I appreciate that. There’s enough depth with the different unit types and how you can boost them with gear and rituals. It can be a bit punishing if you’re not careful, and the UI takes a little getting used to, but overall, it’s a pretty addictive game. Definitely worth checking out if you enjoy tactical RPGs with a darker tone and don’t mind the challenge.
Nice game with good lore, music and combat system. A classical dungeon game that keeps you attached to the screen. Good and various classes for the fighters and always engaging fights.
At first, Arhaekon felt a bit overwhelming, but once I understood the mechanics, I was hooked. The turn based combat is tense and rewarding, and managing your squad through rituals and augments adds depth. The dark atmosphere, smooth graphics, and randomized dungeons keep things fresh. It’s a bit punishing early on, but that’s part of the appeal. If you enjoy tactical RPGs with a gritty tone, this one’s definitely worth a try. It’s a bit challenging at first, and the UI takes a moment to get used to, but once you’re in, it’s incredibly rewarding. If you enjoy tactical RPGs with roguelike elements and a darker tone, this is absolutely worth your time.

I enjoy the novelty of the game with its top-tier music and immersive sounds, intriguing lore, and missions that keep you hooked. The battles are engaging with solid mechanics, and the animations are top-notch with brilliant effects that really catch the eye. You venture through dungeons, battle formidable foes, and uncover deep lore. The tactical, turn-based combat keeps you on your toes and requires strategic planning, making each encounter feel rewarding. The game's visuals are stunning and the game nails it with its dark, atmospheric world. With a few tweaks and additions based on player feedback, it could become a better gem. Some ideas for the full version: - improved onboarding - a more comprehensive onboarding system would be a game-changer, helping new players quickly grasp the game’s mechanics and lore; - more save points - it would be a blessing to have more save points, especially during challenging missions; - enhanced help system - an updated help system could make everything crystal clear when you're stuck; - voice acting - adding voice acting instead of relying solely on text would significantly enhance the storytelling; - difficulty levels - introducing different difficulty levels would be the cherry on top, catering to both casual players and hardcore fans; Overall, the game is offering a rich and engaging experience, especially for fans of RPGs and turn-based strategy games.
