ABSOLUTELY RECOMMENDED!
I was gonna wait until I finished the game before writing a review but nah, I couldn't hold it in anymore. This game is way too much fun. Playing it honestly feels like you're inside a cartoon, and I mean that in the best way possible The world of Another Crab's Treasure is ridiculously charming and hilarious. Everywhere you go, you'll run into all kinds of sea creatures, some are your friends, some definitely aren't. A lot of the locations are built from trash that humans dumped into the ocean, turning everyday objects into underwater landmarks. It's weirdly familiar and absolutely hilarious The beginning was fun, but New Carcinia is where the game really came alive for me. That place had me laughing nonstop. Seeing the old guy walking around with a floss pick as his cane was already comedy gold, and then he drops "Oh my Fish" instead of "Oh my God." I actually lost it. 😂 On top of that, the town is packed with goofy little interactions, like four crabs standing on a rooftop seriously planning a robbery. Or a QR code you can actually scan, BUT I'm not spoiling what it leads to. Stuff like that gives the game so much personality Since this is a soulslike, you'll definitely notice plenty of nods to the classics. One thing that cracked me up was finding an area called The Sands Between. Sound familiar? Yep, it's basically the another version of The Lands Between from Elden Ring, lol Even though it's a soulslike, don't let that scare you away. I'd genuinely recommend this game to anyone, even if you've never touched the genre before. The game comes with an awesome Assist Mode that lets you customize the difficulty however you want. Best of all, using it doesn't disable achievements, so you can tweak the experience to fit your playstyle without missing out on 100% completion. I seriously wish more games did this I'm not gonna spend this review breaking down every gameplay mechanic because, honestly, I just had an incredible time with Another Crab's Treasure. Huge thanks to the devs for creating this THIS IS HANDS DOWN THE FUNNIEST SOULSLIKE I'VE EVER PLAYED. FR!
Broken game. Registers a controller, then goes crazy. Locked in down mode. I had to use Control/ALt/Delete to end the program. Getting really tired of cheap games that don't properly register a controller.
I'm almost 3 hours into the game and i gotta say, im highly enjoying this. My only complaint are either nitpicks that will probably get better with time or the fact that im playing with my decaying 6 year old toaster of a nintendo switch controller that i love very much. for my first soulslike, i don't like that im worse with the enemies than the bosses, and about the bosses, i love them, but... i kind hoped they'd be like, making me rethink my life level difficult. the first boss took me maybe less than 10 tries, then the second maybe 5, then i played the first optional boss, and that took me 2. itll probably get better though since i just started and again, just me needlessly complaining because funny. and then what's left great writing, funny writing, beautiful visual style, and sometimes really hard, and sometimes nice but kinda jarring music. basically it good, play it. 9/10 for now
屎,后摇长的吓人,还有弱智预输入,跑图到处堆怪,阴间跳跳乐,最恶心的是一段路跑完还没休息点,中途打没血了想回前一个休息点还回不去了
Me deu ainda menos vontade de comer frutos do mar... Jogasso da porra
its incredibly infuriating, many enemies are janky, hitboxes are stupid, and i shouldnt get hit by half of the things that oneshot me. Great game literally Crab Souls
Mr Crab vs the great big sea, the big C, its good like dark souls somed say
