About
As governor, how you build and govern will shape your story, your citizens’ destiny, and your provinces’ future. Will you cooperate with other governors or prove your military prowess by challenging your rivals? The cost of peace is yours to decide.
Build your provinces with unmatched detail, flexibility, and scale. Watch kids chase dogs through the streets or thousands cheer in the arena. Build upon the land that you see, from the beautiful heartland of Latium to the mysterious Celtic wetlands of Albion… where no civilized Roman wants to be.
Design the cities of your dreams at the peak of the Roman Empire as you balance your people's needs with the relentless demands of the emperor. Forge alliances across the empire or showcase your might with strategic land battles and naval combat. You may even defy the emperor himself – but not without consequences.
Every decision you make as governor matters. Will you honor local Celtic culture or enforce Roman traditions? Grow your provinces through diplomacy and commerce or conquer through military strength. Your choices will shape not only the future of your citizens and your provinces, but your own story as well.

Meh. The best thing about buying this game on Steam is the return policy.
Just broke 100 hours, finished the campaign on launch and again recently. Havent fully dug into Endless yet. Ive tried anno a few times over the years, and always bounced off it hard due to not really being interested in Naval themes and naval warfare, i know i know, anno is a production chain game, not an RTS. You know what, most of the Anno fanbase argue over little idiosiyncracies and which game is better. Eh, Sorry, Anno 117 is the best. And yes its got heaps of problems, yet in MY opinion, its the only one I dont bounce off of hard. You know what it is? All the new features. Ground combat being the main one. Thats all i needed to make Anno work for me. Pax Romana setting, take my money. For Rome!! Pros- Ground combat ACTIVE PAUSE (how do you peasants at ubisoft NOT have this feature in 1800??) Roman setting Cons- AI generated content in a game of this budget, with these resources? Your having a laugh mate. AAA my ass. There is no effing excuse. Ubi Connect DLC spam is comin' MID Some of the cultural choices are completely boneheaded, sorry not sorry. Keep ya politics out me historical fiction. Regardless of that, the dialogue is still written by ai or sanitized french-canadians anyway so there is zero point in paying it any mind. Procurator Corinus is the only highlight of the cast, after doing the campaign twice, every other character was bland and forgettable. Ill update this review when the games complete. Yes, this is a DLC pipeline. Yes im aware. Dont care, good game. Maybe UBISOFT wouldnt have the vultures circling their rotting carcass if they made good games, without the DLC farm.
honestly kinda boring i do though like the way you can add different production building around and in your city to gain different bonuses. other than that anno 1800 is still more fun and better in most cases but hey to each their own
Scam 1 year season pass and poor multiplayer optimization prevent it from being a great game. Cannot recomend untill you'r ok with that.
boring af
multiplayer is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ scuffed dont waste your money on this ubisoft ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
I was a huge fan of Anno 1800, and jumped right into this one. Bottom line, its not really all that fun. The land battles don't really work. Its like they took out 70% of the game and put in 20% new. And then threw in a bit of woke. Like the black Romans, and the Mary Sue celt. Yeah, its just a game, but its jarring from a historical perspective for myself. Most won't care, I didn't a lot, but some.
能把你那土豆服务器关了,托管给steam算了,不开加速器进不去游戏,开了加速器联机延迟卡到爆。没钱租好服务器,就把老服务器挪用,从117开放后,1800都开始卡的玩不了了。
Was für ein Pisslauncher. Direkt refunded
