I played this game for a few hours, I like the game's setting, gameplay, and the cool vehicles. but the game needs a weapon rebalance, the floaty movement needs a fix, and little more game modes. but if you want a Battlefield style game, then this game is for you and I wanted this game to succeed because this game has great Potential
Picked this up specifically for bot matches. Reminds me a bit of a game I used to play on the Xbox called Section 8. Lots of large-scale carnage and some pretty fun loadout customization. Space combat can be a little wonky at times, and takes a bit to get used to, but any game with fully-realized, walkable ship interiors gets a pass in my book. And the (almost) seamless boarding is pure gravy. The only issue I really have is with the framerate, which struggles on some maps more than others.

The foundation for a fun game is there and I haven't jumped into space battles yet which I've heard are the best part of the game, but the game is lacking some mechanical polish. Pros: create a class classic objectives team commander Cons: Ark: Survival movement at 2x speed Hit registry (very inconsistent, enough to make DMR's pointless) UI Unbalanced but it seems to be getting fixed. battlefield sized maps feel like shipment from COD so its just SMG, Shotgun, Knife every match unless you're kind enough to grab a anti vehicle weapon for the team.
This really is the Battle Front 3 we never got. Some games are fast paced while others take their time. The Vets from pre 1.0 go hardcore but they do not mind teaching and lending a hand in getting the hang of things and answering questions new players have. Took some time to get used to the game play and the different match styles but really have enjoyed my time with the game thus far and look forward to playing more. Really hope to get more people in the game and look forward to what is to come.
Having more fun with this than I did with Planetside 2. It feels so good to play a game in 2026 that doesn't have 5 "editions" and a cash shop attached. This multiplayer (with offline mode) shooter is kind of a throwback. Reminds me of playing Tribes - Ascend, Blacklight Retribution, NeoTokyo, Star Conflict, etc when I was a teenager. Stellar vibes, fun vehicles, no cheaters as far as I have seen, deep weapon/loadout customization, I N F I N I T E replayability. Commander mode brings a little bit of RTS-lite tactics for one player on each team, like a very streamlined version of the mechanic from Natural Selection 2. It runs fine on my PC, 60fps with occasional dips if a lot of chaos is on-screen. You can feel the love, and with the sub-$20 price tag, your wallet can feel it too.
buy now the mos underrated steam game no matter what
The game's cool but janky. You can board hostile ships, dogfight, and have firefights where you're just confused about what is happening. There's a lot of... stuff here. You can mess with your guns and armor, add all kinds of attachments and stuff, change how your armor works, all kinds of stuff. I'm sure it matters, there's plenty of knobs to turn, but holy crap is it a lot. Multiplayer is cool but right now everyone's just running around, lost. The HUD is awful and menus suck. Has offline vs bots which is awesome but buggy. Sometimes missions fail to work where the AI just get lost, it's really hard to know what a mission is ahead of time. It's a real pain in the ass to figure out the nitty gritties of this game. It doesn't do a good job of explaining small stuff. Solid 7/10 to play with people in multiplayer or vs bots. The tutorial is hilarious and the game is clearly made by dorks, my people. It's cool stuff. Give it a try/
I used to play planetside 1 and 2 and this game is what I wanted out of that game I hope you are able to have bigger modes with more player and ai counts. This game has alot of potential. The space battles captured that same feeling I had back when I played star wars battlefront 2 classic. I always have a smile on my face every match I play, thank you all for making an amazing game. Also could you expand the loadout system on the main menu, I noticed I am only able to change ground warfare units however the space ships loadouts I can only customize behind the game mode. Unless I did not see an option to switch I do apologize if I made an error on my end. I also would very much like to customize the faction colors for each force to look like my own soldier customization for offline/ private bot mode. the light blue and light tan is a little bit odd choice because each default trooper has different color stripes.
hell yeah - the game
same 20 people only every day multiple years of development for no good reason and all the maps are ♥♥♥♥♥♥ battlefield camper heavens
