About
taCam is an action-packed, tactical multiplayer first-person shooter that immerses players in a bodycam-style perspective, offering unparalleled realism and situational awareness. Designed for players who value strategic depth and fluid gunplay, taCam challenges you to think tactically, whether you're clearing rooms, coordinating with teammates, or flanking enemies. The bodycam perspective enhances the sense of urgency and realism, replicating the restricted and dynamic views used by real-world operatives.

With seamless gunplay mechanics like ADS reloading, point shooting, and weapon blocking, every movement and decision feels intuitive, creating a smooth combat flow. The bodycam view further enhances immersion, making every firefight feel intensely personal and realistic. Customization is key—players can modify their loadouts with an intuitive system to adapt their arsenal to the battlefield's demands, and the Map Vote System gives players control over the next map and mode, ensuring a dynamic experience every round.

Sound design plays a pivotal role in taCam, with a Distance-Based Gunshot System that adjusts the soundscape based on your position, heightening the realism of each encounter. Players can also engage with adaptive AI in co-op modes or battle it out in multiplayer modes such as Skirmish, Team Deathmatch, and Gun Game. Each mode requires strategic teamwork and sharp reflexes, making taCam a challenging and engaging experience.

Whether you're outwitting human opponents or adapting to the AI’s evolving tactics, taCam delivers a fast-paced, tactical shooter experience where every decision matters. Get ready to engage in one of the most immersive, bodycam-style tactical shooters available!

the gameplay is good, the graphics are also good, it does need improvement here and there, one of them when I played coop against zombies i got stuck at the entrance in one of the rooms, the weapon grip is still too shaky. hopefully in the future dev can fix some of these problems. Thanks.

taCam is a tactical first-person shooter developed and published by DIG Games that seeks to deliver a grounded combat experience through an immersive body camera perspective. Rather than chasing the fast-paced spectacle found in many modern military shooters, it focuses on realism, measured decision-making, and coordinated teamwork. The bodycam viewpoint is the defining feature, creating a sense of authenticity by narrowing the player's field of vision and making every movement through corridors, buildings, and open environments feel tense. This design choice transforms ordinary firefights into suspenseful encounters where situational awareness and communication often matter more than quick reflexes. The gameplay revolves around tactical combat that rewards patience and planning. Every engagement encourages players to think carefully before exposing themselves, as rushing into dangerous situations can quickly lead to defeat. The shooting mechanics complement this philosophy with responsive weapon handling, including practical features such as aiming while reloading and intuitive firearm controls that feel satisfying without becoming overly complex. The combination of deliberate pacing and realistic gunplay allows the experience to appeal to players who appreciate military simulations while remaining approachable enough for newcomers willing to adapt to its slower rhythm. Weapon variety is another area where taCam shows considerable promise. Players can assemble personalized loadouts from an extensive collection of firearms and equipment suited to different combat roles. Whether favoring precision rifles for long-range support, compact weapons for close-quarters assaults, or balanced all-purpose setups, the customization options encourage experimentation instead of forcing a single dominant strategy. This flexibility gives each match a different feel, allowing players to adjust their approach depending on the map, objective, or preferred style of play. The multiplayer component offers several competitive modes, including classic Team Deathmatch, Skirmish, and Gun Game, providing a healthy mix of traditional and skill-focused gameplay. These modes benefit from the game's tactical foundation, rewarding coordinated squads that communicate effectively instead of relying solely on individual marksmanship. A map voting system helps maintain variety between rounds, while cooperative gameplay against AI-controlled enemies provides an enjoyable alternative for players who want to practice strategies or simply experience the core mechanics without the intensity of player-versus-player competition. The AI is designed to present meaningful resistance, helping make cooperative sessions more engaging than simple target practice. Audio design also contributes significantly to the overall immersion. Weapon reports carry convincing depth and distance, allowing players to estimate enemy positions based on sound alone. Combined with the restricted bodycam perspective, these realistic sound cues become an essential part of survival, encouraging players to listen carefully before advancing. The result is a battlefield that feels believable, where environmental awareness is just as valuable as precise aiming. Small details in presentation reinforce the impression that every firefight is dangerous, making victories feel genuinely earned. As an Early Access release, taCam already establishes a strong gameplay foundation while leaving room for meaningful expansion. The current version includes its core combat systems, multiple game modes, weapon customization, and cooperative content, but the developers have outlined plans to introduce additional maps, new features, expanded arsenals, and ongoing gameplay refinements based on player feedback. Although the game's long-term success will depend on continued support and consistent updates, its existing mechanics demonstrate a clear vision that differentiates it from many other tactical shooters currently available. Overall, taCam succeeds in carving out its own identity by combining a realistic bodycam presentation with thoughtful tactical gameplay, immersive audio, and flexible weapon customization. Its emphasis on teamwork, strategic movement, and authentic combat creates an experience that stands apart from more arcade-oriented shooters. While the Early Access status means there is still room for additional content and refinement, the current package offers enough depth to satisfy fans of methodical military action and immersive multiplayer experiences. For players seeking a shooter that prioritizes realism, communication, and careful execution over relentless action, taCam is a promising title with considerable potential. Rating: 6/10
The game is really early stage. Some bugs could be found. The game is fun if you buy 2 copies and play with your friend. I did same with my girlfriend and we had so much fun. Looking forward to Zombie Mode ASAP
Abandoned, remove this fncking sh!t from steam
I would leave a neutral review, but unfortunately, Steam doesn't allow that, so I have to leave a negative one. On one hand, the game is well-designed in gameplay. On the other hand, there’s no one to play with - there are no live online, nor even any bots. I have to get a refund, since it's impossible to play without opponents.
