15$. Full combined arms warfare. Original setting. FULL OFFLINE BOT SUPPORT!! 10 years in development. Star wars battlefront 1.5. Unreal engine 3. If that's not enough to get you to buy it, read some other reviews, or wait for me to write a creative one.
Gunplay is awful, controls are weird, visuals are reminiscent of 6th gen slop, interface is confusing, and I ran into a few frustrating bugs. Game isn't nearly as cool as it looks.

The game's cool but janky. You can board hostile ships, dogfight, and have firefights where you're just confused about what is happening. There's a lot of... stuff here. You can mess with your guns and armor, add all kinds of attachments and stuff, change how your armor works, all kinds of stuff. I'm sure it matters, there's plenty of knobs to turn, but holy crap is it a lot. Multiplayer is cool but right now everyone's just running around, lost. The HUD is awful and menus suck. Has offline vs bots which is awesome but buggy. Sometimes missions fail to work where the AI just get lost, it's really hard to know what a mission is ahead of time. It's a real pain in the ass to figure out the nitty gritties of this game. It doesn't do a good job of explaining small stuff. Solid 7/10 to play with people in multiplayer or vs bots. The tutorial is hilarious and the game is clearly made by dorks, my people. It's cool stuff. Give it a try/
I want to applaud how immersive this game is, the battles feel rooted in this glorious sci fi universe with so many small details adding up to make an epic experience, like how you always spawn from a spot that makes sense like a drop pod or barracks, or how ships have visible reloading mechanism for when they spawn in almost like your base / ships hangar is some sort gun firing fighters. Want a special vehicle? a dropship physically flies in and delivers you quicker than Amazon Prime. People say the movement is janky, but to me it just feels like you're moving around in some sort of military exosuit, which you are. Speaking of, this game does have a higher TTK, but I don't really mind that because you do have someone of an opportunity to retaliate instead of instantly die when someone gets the drop on you. Might not be everyone's thing, but I like it here. Also, I don't think there's many games that have Space Combat this good. The fighter / bomber / etc gameplay is super fun, then sometimes, the game will offer you Corvettes, Frigates, and even the Main Battleship. being able to walk around them to repair parts of them and access turrets is just so cool. You can launch a dropship from your battleship, board an enemies battleship and destroy it from the inside. The game's not perfect, sure, I'd love improvements on the AI and other aspects, but it has so much spirit and love to make up for it. If you like Sci Fi Combat it's worth checking out.
Enemies have too much HP, weapons have too much recoil.
Absolutely *phenomenal* game. I genuinely am in awe that a gem like this is around today. I know it just released after years of being early access, but it's like a blast to the past for me. It's incredibly easy to jump in and out of, and the gameplay is a mix of peak late 2000s/early 2010s ground and vehicle combat and some of the most insanely satisfying space combat I've ever experienced. It's a steal for the price it's at.
Boring game ?!18!? years down the drain. You'll never climb. Play Planetside 2 stupid. Play Ravenfield stupid. Also game runs poorly.
The foundation for a fun game is there and I haven't jumped into space battles yet which I've heard are the best part of the game, but the game is lacking some mechanical polish. Pros: create a class classic objectives team commander Cons: Ark: Survival movement at 2x speed Hit registry (very inconsistent, enough to make DMR's pointless) UI Unbalanced but it seems to be getting fixed. battlefield sized maps feel like shipment from COD so its just SMG, Shotgun, Knife every match unless you're kind enough to grab a anti vehicle weapon for the team.
If you enjoyed OG Star wars Battlefront I/II or Halo 1-Reach (the good ones), then you will more than likely enjoy this game.
