Spent a few hours staring at logs and messages on a spaceship. Most of the game is reading, clicking through text, and piecing together a mystery about the ship’s crew. There’s an AI that talks to you, but the writing didn’t really pull me in. No real action or challenge, more like sifting through archives. Atmosphere is sparse and lonely, but I barely remember any of it after five hours.
It turns out this whole time all you needed to make lifechanging feminist literature was a morally ambiguous maid and the world's most misogynistic lesbian chatbot.
woke nonsense
Analogue: A Hate Story is a standout entry in the visual novel genre, offering a truly unique experience that goes far beyond the typical "read and click" formula. While it starts off simply, exploring logs and piecing together a story. One of the most striking aspects of Analogue is how it handles its story. As you dig deeper into the history of the derelict spaceship, you uncover dark secrets that completely change your perspective on what initially seems like a straightforward mystery. The game doesn't shy away from delivering a powerful and uncomfortable message about the dangers of systemic sexism, and it does so in a way that feels personal, not preachy. The characters are another highlight. Despite the bleak setting, the AI personalities you interact with are incredibly charming and well-developed. As you learn more about her, you can't help but grow attached. Overall, Analogue: A Hate Story is an emotional, thought-provoking, and surprisingly cute journey through a dark chapter of humanity. It’s a must-play for anyone who loves visual novels that aren't afraid to challenge their audience.
13년 전 게임이지만 메시지는 아직도 유효하다. 2012년의 대한민국과 2025년의 대한민국은 대체 무엇이 달라졌는가?
I had a great time with this game's characters, unveiling the story as I went.
Very emotionally devastating story. I loved it.
A developed modern piece that dives into the issues that not a lot of games touch on
