I remember watching PewDiePie play this game a lot back in the good old 2012. And it was one of the many reasons I wanted to get into the Amnesia Series so bad. Despite having the Demo version of the game originally in my library I decided to purchase the full thing once I grew enough to take on such an astoundingly atmospheric and horrifying game. For a game that came out so many years ago it still holds up brilliantly, and the mystery of the story through notes and lore had me kept despite wanting to quit every 5 minutes when something freaks me out. Overall, Amnesia the Dark Descent is a fantastic game and will keep you on your feet from start to finish. Absolutely worth playing.

How can I describe how good this game is? I have no idea to be honest but it's an incredible experience, the story is so immersive and interesting and the horror will keep you on the edge of your seat constantly. If you want one of the best horror experiencies you can get, BUY THIS GAME. It's totally worth it 10/10, the only thing that may not hold up to many modern player standards are the graphics, but they do not take from the horror in any way! So go get it NOW!
I was walking through the game with constant tension and fear. The only cons is the monster disappear after a while and it is indicated by soundtrack. So you walk hear scary music and monster grunting, hide and wait, music calms down and you explore freely.
