Первая игра в серии и пожалуй самая интересная. Игра стоит у истоков современного понимания хоррор-игр. Страх здесь довольно слабый, все таки игра 2010 года, впрочем иногда можно и отложить пару кирпичиков, особенно если играть на максимальной сложности, когда любая ошибка и полчас, а то и час твоих трудов уйдут в никуда (слава богу что хотя бы не в начало). Впрочем зная игру и ее механики пройти крайне легко. Игра во много ставит упор на головоломки и поиск предметов в этом проклятом замке, что впрочем достаточно хорошо сделаны, особенно не стандартные загадки завязанные на внутриигровую физику (можно двигать многие предметы создавая лестницу) Игрой доволен, как и когда проходил ее в первый раз на пиратке.

This game was released 16 years ago as of this review, and I've become unnecessarily obsessed with it. There's nothing I could say that hasn't already been said: its atmosphere is amazing, the storytelling compelling and it's generally a fun game! It has some extra content in its files: Justine, a mini-story of sorts, and Remember, which is a collection of pre-story context stuff. Both fascinating and fun! The only issues I've had would be with attempting to download custom stories (which is confusing and was a pain for me personally, even with help and guides {this is 100% on me though, so don't let it influence any decision}) and I wish the commentary option in the game came with subtitles.

하는 중. 고전 명작이라고 하는 이유가 있음. 숨소리라던가 비틀거리는 연출과 마우스를 통한 아이템 조작이 지금 기준으로도 잘 만들었다고 생각함.
