Un clásico del terror. Es bastante antiguo, al jugarlo creí que me llenaría de sustos y persecuciones sin sentido pero, me encontré con una narrativa de oro y un ambiente de tensión extrema. Las mecánicas son bastante divertidas, las notas y entradas le dan un toque vivo al juego, escapar de los monstruos y resolver los puzles son desafíos óptimos para moverse por el castillo, y por último los personajes como el protagonista, antagonista y otros; son bastante complejos lo que da más seriedad a la historia. Recomendado... pero en oferta porque está un poco caro.

one of the best story driven horror games out there

This was extremely addictive. The pacing was flawless in this game, and I constantly wanted to get back into it. The story was extremely engaging, and following its slow unraveling got me really invested in the whole experience. I'm sad that the survival horror elements felt a little bit lackluster. They were really cool ideas on paper, but with the constant moving through the levels, rather than staying in one location where lighting candles would matter more, I felt like they were a wasted potential. It made me stressed a few times, but it didn't feel meaningful that much because there were no huge consequences of that stuff. I still have to play the Justine expansion and read Remember, but the main dish that was The Dark Descent is a truly wonderful game :3

Absolutely stunning game. PERFECT horror that I can safely say made my ass grip my desk chair on multiple occasions. On a more serious note though, this is a really, really effective horror game. The music and story is super investing, and barely ever do I feel badly stuck in an area. Awesome puzzles, although some of the more complicated puzzles get me thinking that ALL of the puzzles are complicated, when In reality the solution is just some caveman stuff (Eg, throwing a rock at the problem.) 10/10.

O jogo inicia de forma boa nos primeiros minutos, mas fica muito cansativo por três motivos Primeiro: Efeitos gráficos cansam a vista e doem muito a cabeça quando exposto por muito tempo. Segundo: História rasa e momentos de susto forçados para render mais tempo de jogo. Terceiro: Puzzles sem sentido e muitas vezes sem explicação básica para serem resolvidos, forçando o jogador que não quer spoiler a ficar horas procurando uma solução que não é nem minimamente explicada. Os três finais disponíveis no jogos são totalmente ridículos, pelo tanto de esforço e tanto tempo resolvendo puzzles e se frustrando no processo e os finais não são nem minimamente satisfatórios, sem redenção ou ação de verdade, somente ficar parado e ouvir discurso. Não recomendo nem de graça sendo sincero.

Культовая пугалка, отец стелс-хорроров как никак. Безмерно уважаю разработчиков и их вклад в индустрию страшилок, но сам пока не щупал всю серию игр, хотя обязательно сделаю это в будущем.
