From the creators of Amnesia: The Dark Descent and Dear Esther comes a new first-person horrorgame that will drag you to the depths of greed, power and madness. It will bury its snout into your ribs and it will eat your heart.

It’s a very good game. Don’t let the people in the comments complaining about “Where are the chase monsters?” and “Why did they remove the sanity mechanic?” convince you that this game is just a walking simulator. The story genuinely rivals the one from The Dark Descent, and might even be better. The environments and atmosphere are what really make this game so great. You don’t need a monster chasing you around every corner when every corner is already scary enough to make you break a sweat. However, the game constantly crashes after entering a new level, and sometimes even when quitting and saving. This is really frustrating, and exactly why I would recommend watching the game on YouTube instead, or at least, make sure you know what you’re getting into before buying it. I tried several fixes, but the crashes kept happening frequently for me. It’s a shame, because underneath the technical problems is a genuinely great horror game.
Assustador. Dei uma cagadinha e uma peidada.
I loved the first game so much but I can't even bring myself to play this for 30 minutes. I understand that the main guy is meant to have amnesia and all but I was at least able to connect a story through the notes before. These notes do not make sense. They seem like they're trying to be eloquent and complicated and trying to tell a story, but the way they are written is so muddy it annoys me. I also miss how long the letters were and I miss Daniel's voice actor for the notes. There is also the classic "creepy kids" trope but that's also just annoying to me, maybe it was more scary at the time but I couldn't help but laugh when a little memory of a kid would run by. I have an okay computer for running games. It doesn't have any problem running much higher quality games so it confuses me why my screen is so jumpy.
Let's be honest here, this game would've been better as a custom story or total conversion mod for The Dark Descent. There's so much content cut from this game that would've made it more interesting... the infection system and the health items in particular. The story is great don't get me wrong, but it's basically a walking simulator with like THREE encounters with the monsters. oh yea and the water monster. 6/10

Gameplay wise this game was kind of boring, all of the threats could just be ran right past and there was no need for stealth like there was in The Dark Descent. The story was pretty interesting though, I thought it was pretty cool and it compelled me enough to make me want to play more despite not liking the gameplay. The length of this game is also an issue for me, despite having 4.5 hours not all of that was spent playing the game itself, I did end up leaving it open for a bit, I'd guess this game took me closer to 3.5 hours, which I find to be extremely short considering the length of the last game. Overall, I think it has a good story, I don't think it's a must-play, but it isn't terrible either. If you get it, get it on sale.
la verdad que es un paso hacia atrás comparado con su antecesor, pero lo de los crasheos cada 2 minutos te caga totalmente la experiencia. NO recomendado
Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs — атмосферний психологічний горор із похмурою історією та сильним сюжетом.
Fabularnie sztosik, rozgrywka mogła być lepsza.
