Amazing Pyramids: Rebirth

I love word games and this one, though clever and attractive was very easy to do. It was addictive and I look forward to completing all 36 steam achievements in due course. My first play through took me 4 hours and I will happily play another 4 to complete the game fully.

Not really worth it. I have been noticing a lot lately how lazy this title was. My fist catch was a tree clue and the answer was Magnolia... not a tree but, okay. The most puzzling was Jobs and Occupations clue and the answer was...... wait for it.... kidnapper! what normal person would associate stealing another human being as a job and occupation, not to mention to think of it that way when making a game. Had hopes for a good word game, I guess the hunt continues. EDIT: I Added a few more of the "quality" gameplay words. Aquatic Fauna > Salmon? fauna is a fish type????? Mythical creature > Mutant Bathroom > Dropper? Algebra and Geometry > Union? No effort at all on this title as seen by the clue/answers.

Чудова гра, зроблена з любов'ю :) Є багато різних тем для відгадування слів, є кілька мов - тож грати зручно і цікаво! Інтерфейс простий і зрозумілий, є карта досягнень. Круто!

Guessing letters to form words is fun, even when the clues are not the best. If it says to name an animal I do not think a bird or reptile is the animal. How do you save the game? I have to start over once it is all complete. Where are some good instructions?

Несмотря на бесячий камень прозрения который через раз срабатывает правильно и некоторые неточности в словах игра понравилась, по скидке стОит купить поиграться чтобы мозг не плесневел :) p.s. На мониторах с разрешением ниже 1920 могут быть проблемы с запуском, но в оконном режиме работает...

Great fun game to pass the time, and could be really useful to thiose wishing to expand their vocabulary.

There are seven levels of words in every pyramid. Each pyramid level has a different category, and you have to guess the word based on the given category. You can use some of the power plays, such as revealing one of the letters from the word, eliminating five incorrect letters, revealing all the vowels of the word, or choosing a different category to guess the word. Each successful guess will be rewarded with coins. Once all seven words are guessed correctly, a puzzle piece of an Egyptian story will be revealed. I don’t know the real purpose of earning the coins, as there isn’t anything to buy in the game. There are 55 days (or levels) in the [b]Adventure[/b] mode. Some levels only have one theme or category, and some have a specific number of letters you need to guess the word (Manuscript mode). There are some levels that start with the same letter in the pyramid but with various of categories. Some random levels have a side quest where you need to solve a jigsaw puzzle. The flaw of this mode is the logic of the given category. The category can be too broad, but sometimes, it’s too specific to guess the word. It’s more like I have to find the correct word for what a person is thinking. For example, a particular category - ‘Baseball’ and the right word is ‘WIN’, and another is ‘HIT’. Why not generalise those words under the category of ’Sports’? Other examples are such as: [list] [*][b]Category: [/b]Restaurant. [b]Word[/b] - Steak (Why not Food?) [*][b]Category: [/b]House. [b]Word[/b] - Pet [*][b]Category: [/b]Yard or Backyard. [b]Word[/b] - Backyard [*][b]Category: [/b]School. [b]Word[/b] - Paper (How about Stationery or School Supplies?) [*][b]Category: [/b]Business. [b]Word[/b] - Equipment [*][b]Category: [/b]Animals. [b]Word[/b] - Herring [/list] In [b]Manuscript[/b] mode, you are given a number of random letters. You need to guess the correct word as many as you can within the time limit. There is no category in this mode, but you must get the exact right word. For example, if the random letters are A-I-E-D, you can’t put AIDE even though such a word does exist. The correct word that they expect is IDEA. The Manuscript mode is quite challenging, and I felt annoyed due to the strictness, but it’s more fun than the Adventure mode. As for [b]Shard[/b] mode, it gives you more freedom to create as many words as you can using the given letters. I don’t think you need to spend up to 10 hours to finish this game, but you probably have to leave the game running to unlock the achievement for playing the game for 10 hours and 20 hours.
