Über 3 Jahre early access, wobei manche stellen sich auch spürbar unfertig anfühlen, obwohl gameplay und flair eigentlich wirklich gut sind... habe es deinstalliert um der entwicklung noch zeit zu geben...

I can't state how pretty the overworld of this game is. The character banter is pretty lovely too. The devs are really passionate about this project and it shows! Can't wait for the full release!

Very akin to Classics like Chrono Trigger with the pixel Graphics & the way combat is done. I have personally had a blast playing through the Pyra campaign so far. I'm sure i have many more hours of gameplay ahead of me on it. (edit) i haven't had much more time on it, but im glad the developers keep working on it its still very fun.

Game keeps freezing after every other fight, I have to manually stop the game via steam, and start it back up each time. The controller support is wonky, there is a lag/delay from inputs and not as responsive. I spent 80 mins trying to get through the intro game play.

Fun game! The graphics are super vivid and great. I like the story and characters, too. Its really well done. My main issue is that I bought the full game after playing the demo, and currently there is no new content after the demo. I know there is a 75% completion update coming soon but who wants to pay in full for something that may not be complete for a year? Its a big ask that borders on shady, as well as it kills the flow of the gamers experience with the story. Just keep it a free demo until its done, then charge for it. Beyond that I know there has been feedback about the difficulties navigating the overworld, and I agree somewhat. I dont mind it too much, but I say fill some of the empty spots and dead ends with treasure so it makes navigating it more satisfying and less tedious. I dont like the newer yellow "warp points" concept. It feels like an afterthought and way too "point and click". A little cheap. I would totally get rid of the superfluous colored gate concept. It detracts from the flow and story, unless maybe the payoff is huge with some really powerful equipment in the chests behind those gates. I personally dont need or care for some of the new things on the menu like books and the monster compendium. Less is more. Also, it would be nice if there was a way to tell what each character had equipped, especially when selling. It could be as simple as a little characters face icon next to the item in the equipment menu. When selling items in a shop you could use the same idea as when buying items; a little character thumbnail pops up that shows if an item can be/ is equipped and by whom. With all that critique I still have to say I really like the game. So many games these days are too tedious and cant get out of their own way, but this one fun. Nothing but potential. :)

The map design is expansive, offering vast areas to explore and a variety of elemental creature bosses—such as Earth, Water, and Fire—that add strategic diversity to encounters. The game excels in several core RPG aspects: character development, strategic depth, narrative focus, replayability, and accessibility. These elements make it especially appealing to players who prefer a more deliberate, rhythm-based gameplay experience over fast-paced action. Visually, the game stands out with its distinct pixel art and hand-drawn styles, contributing to a memorable and cohesive aesthetic that complements its nostalgic tone. Loved playing this game, can't wait for the full game to release.
