The TEW series is addictive if you are a fan of the backend creative side of wrestling...or math. The amount of hours I've logged on here doesnt do the game justice, as I bought tew2016 a month after this. With the new one coming out in April please, please, please give this a try!

I find it very fun and interesting trying to go from nothing to having the best company around. I wish they would add the newest games in the series to steam.

I've been a wrestling fan since I was a kid and I've always wanted to figure out what it's like to run the business outside of the ring. I played the GM mode in the classic SDvR series until it was removed and have been craving something that gives me that feeling again. This, unfortunately, isn't it. At least for me. I find it too bogged down with too many statistics and figures, some of which I still don't know how to apply in-game. It takes forever to even remotely get close to a decent match. Worst of all, my game files would become corrupted and unplayable at random points after closing out of them. I was required to create multiple copies of my save files to make sure I could return to my game. Glad it exists and it got me interested enough to keep trying to play, but too many technical issues and overly complicated gameplay to maintain that interest past a couple of hours. I can only restart my game so many times. 5/10

TEW 2013 - the best wrestlingshow-booking-simulation of all time. Incredibly captivating, deep, complex, completely moddable and with many real fan database mods from the Internet, you can also book old classics from the WWF Attitude Era, WCW or WWE Ruthless Aggression Era or create your own creations. It's unbelievable how many possibilities this game offers and how much you can customize without it ever really getting boring. Changing gimmicks of existing wrestlers, no problem. The only thing I miss about Total Extreme Wrestling is proper multiplayer via LAN or Internet. Something that, in my opinion, this series would do very well if you want to book different leagues or shows with several people or friends. Conclusion: Total Extreme Wrestling 2013 is the last part that was released on Steam (!) and also the best that you can generally buy here. I no longer like the presentation of the 2016 and 2020 successors so much, although that is a matter of taste. Anyone who has always wanted to make John Cena a heel or want the WCW and WWF's Monday Night Wars to end differently and like very in-depth wrestling booking should definitely give this title a try. Unglaublich fesselnd, tiefgründig, komplex, komplett moddbar und mit vielen realen Fan-Datenbank-Mods aus dem Internet kann man auch alte Klassiker von der WWF Attitude Era, WCW oder WWE Ruthless Aggression Era booken oder eigene Kreationen erstellen. Es ist unglaublich was für eine Vielzahl an Möglichkeiten dieses Spiel bietet und wieviel man anpassen kann, ohne das es wirklich je langweilig wird. Gimmicks von vorhandenen Wrestlern verändern, kein Problem. Das einzige was ich bei Total Extreme Wrestling vermisse, ist ein ordentlicher Multiplayer über LAN oder Internet. Etwas was diese Reihe meiner Meinung nach sehr gut tun würde, wenn man mit mehreren Leuten oder Freunden verschiedene Ligen bzw. Shows booken will. Fazit: Total Extreme Wrestling 2013 ist der letzte Teil der auf Steam(!) erschienen ist und auch der beste den man hier generell kaufen kann. Die Nachfolger 2016 und 2020 gefallen mir von der Aufmachung dann nicht mehr so sehr, wobei das Geschmackssache ist. Wer John Cena schon immer mal zum Heel machen wollte oder die Monday Night Wars von WCW und WWF anders ausgehen lassen wollte und sehr tiefgründiges Wrestlingbooking mag, sollte definitiv diesen Titel mal ausprobiert haben.

This game is a blast. I've always been in to manager/sim kind of games and the amount of detail in this game is absolutely crazy. It is really fun to learn and create new things although it is also pretty difficult.

booking matches is ridiculous fun

If you are still looking for a fun booking game (Although 2020 should be out soon). Then this is it, if you don't want to pay like 40$ for 2016, both are great however. TEW 2013 is by far one of the best booking games out there.

Great Wrestling booking Sim. The TEW series is a must for Wrestling fans. Its a shame none of the later TEW games made it onto Steam.
